I'd be grateful to have insight on Dorian's childhood, if he's willing to share those memories with us. As a magically adept young boy growing up in Tevinter with immense wealth and privilege already at his fingertips while simultaneously abandoning that lifestyle, I imagine he has a myriad of galvanizing stories to tell.

That'll be one thing I'm looking forward to in-game. I mean, it's gotta be in there. Bioware writes really neat characters and with how large the scope of Inquisition is going to be, there's gotta be some insight on Dorian's life whenever we get some down time in the game.

 

I know my Inquisitor will frequent Dorian's part of the Skyhold quite a bit.

At first I'll go under the pretence that his leather chair is just THE comfiest in all of Skyhold  , but I'm sure - being the bright Tevinter mage that he is - Dorian will catch on quick enough.

Haha! Bara Mage of Tevinter. I'm almost tempted to draw shirtless pictures of Dorian. Almost.

 

Though, I'm sorry, but I'm not sure if I'm getting the joke.

There's a small reference to historical Tevinter in Last Flight, they seemed very prejudiced towards elves around 5:20 or so. 

 

A powerful elf Warden mage went there to research blood magic and felt lucky that her status meant they wouldn't try to enslave her. Every Circle refused access to her, and Tevinter mages wouldn't discuss anything.

 

(It seems to clash slightly with the fact that we've seen elven mages like Fenris' sister, but then it has been four centuries and conditions might've improved a bit.)

Not so much, I think. She was a slave her whole life, after all - if it wasn't for Fenris, she still would've been one.

He's going to be a high maintenance boyfriend.

Can't say I'm surprised , I mean he must spend a lot of time in the bathroom every morning with the mustache , the haircut and the eyeliner.

Well now I have a better idea for a gift , forget the dead animal thing , my Dalish is going to give him an aravel to move around all of his  clothes ,leather chair , make up  razor and soap...

He's always going to be dashing , even in  the middle of nowhere.

And he's the only companion I've seen wearing a different outfit every screenshot/video they release of him.

Personally, I'm still hoping we can dress him in full Altus mage armor. It looks menacing and appropriate for one powerful Altus mage such as Dorian.

But he's further south now, so wouldn't he need to bundle up? Someone moving from Hawaii to Alaska is going to be miserable if they dress in summery clothes.
