I didn't know that Dorian was part of a Lovecraft novel. Who is ready to be his fish
bridegroom?
Ahem. ![]()
Thanks for the heads up Rex, can't decide between Necro or Rift for my canon play -.-
Go for the Rift Mage!
So many classes! I've switched my Dorian romancing character to a pro-mage freedom human noble warrior, so maybe I'll give him the Templar specialization? I think it would go well with his background and provide a nice foil to Dorian.
(I don't like playing warriors, but I figure since I'll be dragging Dorian everywhere I'll switch to him during combat. It'll be fun to mess around with his necromancer skillset.)
The Necromancer specialization sounds dangerous and very powerful. If Dorian's version is anything like that, then he will be an unstoppable force. One I'm glad to have on my side.
It all makes sense now why one of the devs dubbed Solas, Dorian, and Vivienne as the team that explodes everything.
Knight Enchanter Viv, Rift Mage Solas, and Necromancer Dorian sounds absolutely dangerous, and I am loving it!

Is it rude of me to want to take the head of the Inquisitor in the art and make a profile pic with it?

Also, OT, but oh my god they posted the blurbs for the specializations on the Dragon Age website and I am beyond excited about Rift Mage
Aww man, sorry, though I haven't seen Twin Peaks! You'll have to forgive me since I tend to just about throw the word "douchebag" around when it comes to most everything.
"Oh, man, I forgot his name- what's that douchebag's name?"
"How my douchebag!?"
"I love that ****** douchebag."
I'm even naming my Qunari Inquisitor Douchebag.
...Anyway. Dorian. Yes. Hot damn. Love that Tevinter Altus Mage Douchebag. ♥

Just to note, KCET is now streaming an episode of Father Brown featuring Ramon Tikaram.
The writing is sadly not all that great, but the voice is real!
I enjoy the show, but this episode was rather weak. Much of the plotting seemed excessively contrived, to the point of distraction. That's what I was referring to when mentioning the writing.Father Brown is a cute show :3 I love Mark Williams. I actually saw this last year!!! I remember thinking that Mr. Tikaram was schexay. Funny, that. Shows like these cater to a certain crowd that doesn't like the fast-cut, graphic style that is common in modern shows. I like this kind of stuff because it's easy to watch and I get to watch it with my mumsies
Also, the writing is just fine, to me. It has a beautiful spectrum of vocabulary utitilised wonderfully by theatrically-trained actors - one thing which is lacking in a lot of hollywood shows these days.
Lovecraft mention! Woohoo!
Well Dorian is crafted with love. ![]()
Agent Peacock.
He's 'the eye of the storm'! Because it's quiet in the center but around everything is getting torn apart.
Agreed! Have a waterbending Dorian in the eye of the storm:

It's not really finished, but I got tired of painting the waves (also, anatomy: what is it even...) - I'm seriously not painting moving water again for the rest of the year. And Joe25, I put Dorian in that toga thing just for you ![]()

Thank you.
I can't believe I forgot all that Dorian is a Roman (Tevinter) God.

Join me in prayer, my brothers and sisters, for a new Dorian image tomorrow.
I admire and share your enthusiasm in campaigning for a new shot of Dorian.
But I wouldn't mind if they saved the best for last.
There goes that Vanessa Williams song again...
Anyway, I'm happy we'll be getting more images for each character (I think, if they're gonna do all the companions and advisors). Wasn't expecting that!
All hail the power of Dorian's pelvis. May
be with you.
