I'll have to listen to the voice samples a while before I decide. Right now I'm leaning towards using the American accent for my elf. I figure there will be more then enough English accents in game as it is.

I will be using the American VA most of the time. Especially with human Inquisitors.
I still have doubts about how low Zevran's voice can really go (the voice was apparently meant for dwarves and Qunari, so...) so I definitely want to hear it.

And I love that the American VA for FemQuisitor has a deep voice. It makes my quest for a trans PC one step closer to being possible.

Do you know what specific point it was at, out of curiosity? I don't believe I've heard it yet. Haven't watched many of the new videos, been in a semi-media blackout.

Thanks Eluvianus Rex for answering that question. It never fails if anyone asks me something, I will miss it completely! I blame Skype, it is so distracting!

Yeah, I'm hopeful. I did tweet asking to see Dorian - we haven't seen him in gameplay since that E3 video.
I want to reserve judgment until we actually get a taste of Jon Curry's voicework for the Inquisitor (IIRC, he did sound pretty versatile in Skyrim), but man, Harry Hadden-Paton's voice has beguiled me. It's an attractive voice and imagining that voice making out with Ramon's voice is enough to induce nosebleeds.
His voice is actually pretty soft. I worried it was going to sound too harsh/deep, since the older DA:I trailers had a deeper english male voice (not clearly the inquisitors, but still).
Although still wish Gideon Emry was voicing a PC. I know that he's Fenris, but who cares? His voice is so awesome I'd be OK with him just doing every protagonist ever.

I am more inclined towards the softer, lilting voice- at least for the Inquisitor of my primary playthrough. I had to go through the gameplay vid again. Hadden-Paton's voice, however, music to my ears as it is, is still a little too baritone-sounding to suit the voice I had in mind initially, so I have got to hear Curry's voice before I choose.
Although, come to think of it, I'd like to hear Hadden-Paton's voice on a rather handsome qunari...
I'm going to wait until I can fiddle around with the voice samples in the character creator, and then decide!

Liked Troy Baker in SR series, it was awesome and anything but boring and predictable. Yeah, I know that series is silly, but voice acting's still the voice acting.

Yeah, it's strange. Harry is so monotone on the 'investigate' options, and for some others he's back to being perfect....
To me though, it's less 'stereotypically masculine' and more flat. BUT, what I've seen is a tiny fraction of the game, so I'm hoping that was just a bad hour
