It would be much more interesting if IB turned out to be gay because he is the complete opposite of what people are used to seeing as far as gay male portrayal in media. However, I would definitely not be opposed to Dorian/DHMG being the gay guy of the group.

I need more DHMG in my life! And I don't think I'm gonna stop calling him that anytime soon even when they announce what he's actually named. XD Dramatic hands in my heart.

 

If DHMG's not an LI (knock on wood again), or a straight LI (tbh I think I'd be slightly more disappointed if this happened then no LI at all) I sure hope I can romance the Grey Warden. Hot and hairy and manly. My my. DHMG's still the best looking one though. And he's a maaaaage. And from Tevinter. I love him already.

Anyone think he'll practice blood magic? Or is that a part of the corruption he's trying to go against in regards to Tevinter. Blood mage doesn't seem to be a specialization this time around, so that may keep him from practicing it gameplay-wise, but I wonder if story-wise he will confess to having practiced it in the past or even currently. I don't see how he could have risen to the rank of magister without doing so.

I don't think so... Like you said, I think blood magic is part of the "corruption". If we can't be a blood mage (it sucks but at least we won't get nonsensical scenes like if you were a blood mage in DAO and DA2) it'd actually be super cool to have one in the party. Maybe Solas? I hope so(las). Badum tsss

I hope not at present. I've had enough blood mages for the rest of DA.

First of all, yay for the Maevaris cameo in this thread.  She held the title of "My favorite Tevinter magister" up until I (possibly prematurely) decided that DHMG is Dorian.

 

Second, I would love for him to be that same healing based magister.  I tend to really enjoy healing based mages in most games.
