I wonder now what will happen if you have Dorian, Vivienne and Cassandra in the party and the inquistor romanced Cass
Poor girl, she'll have no chance.
Dorian: Oh my, is that a smile I see on our dear Seeker's face? What could have pierced the cold armor of iron and rage that surrounds her heart?
Vivienne: Stop being so melodramatic Pavus. You'd be giddy as an apprentice too if you had the affections of a strapping young thing.
Dorian: Who would be fool enough to make a pass at...oh. Didn't she threaten to kill him?
Vivienne: Some people have an interest in that sort of thing dear.
Cassandra: Why is everyone suddenly interested in my love life? Are you expecting me to suddenly start giggling like a servant girl?
Dorian: That's an excellent idea! Think of the terror we could put into the hearts of our enemies!
Oh maker *say the Inquisitor* Well, I think they better have a sass competition with Dorian, Viv, Hawke and maybe....Morigan... Did I forget someone? and I wonder who'll win? ![]()
I'm curious how the necromancy skills are gonna play out.
I guess its gonna involve alot of "summon undead to fight for you"
I dunno. With the eight spell per combat limit and the general short supply of active abilities per spell school, too many summon undead spells could make the necromancy specialization lackluster. We do know Walking Bomb is, un-explicitly, a necromancy spell, and it is probably the spell school where Spirit damage is largely acquired. In line with the powerful passives we've seen in the spell schools and Knight Enchanter, I'm thinking a lot of the raising the dead of Necromancy is acquired through those, with possibly 1 raise dead active spell.
To be honest, I think both Rift Mage and Necromancy are going to pick up a lot of the old staples that were cut from the base mage spell book. So, I don't expect Necromancy to be much beside entropy (horror, hexes) and spirit (walking bomb, raising the dead) and Rift Mage to be random spells mostly from primal (stonefist, firestorm) and possibly creation/spirit.
But, really, we know very little about Necromancy.
Go crazy, Dorian thread.
I think it's been mentioned that he has fire magic.
Good! Since I am planning to specialize either lightning or ice tree for my inquisitor.
Dorian's bootie confirmed for duty? ![]()
Semi-confirmed that he's a top then. Maybe... Hmmm...either way dat ass!
Depends on what you give him really. He might start out with just some points in the necromancy tree, depending on when you get him. He could very well start with a blank skill tree with a certain number of points given to you to spend.
Certain talent points unspent when we meet? Does that mean we can fully customize our companion?

haha... Even to a Qunari? That would be hard to imagine.... ![]()
I'm pretty sure we can. There's respec items in game after all. I hope the companions come with out any of the points assigned, but I doubt we'd get that much freedom from the start. Hopefully the cost of the items are that much (or money is plentiful enough).

Or maybe it's left to the imagination. You know, player agency?

Well, if there's actual sex scenes, there's a real chance that head cannon will be blown out of the water. But who knows, maybe his butt is shown after the deed is done. We'll shall have to wait and see. I'm not too bothered either way myself.
But the post made it sound like it was during the scene...so my theory has a bit of relevance for the moment.
Don't forget that tomorrow is Friday, which means Keep stream, which this time has to mean finally seeing Dorian's (and Solas') romance tile.
But who knows, maybe his butt is shown after the deed is done.
Don't mind just here to say woo hoo for Dorian, and all of him. This romance just keeps better, if worse comes to worse we still have the sideboob. But I don't it come that, Even more excited now.
Thread title is odd.
For example, when the poor guy is searching for the eleventy million moving parts that form his outfit.
Well let's hope when Dorian is probably going to visit the Inquisitor bedroom , he will only wear the white blanket thing and will tear it off dramatically.
"Marvel at my beauty , Inquisitor".
Cutscene of Dorian buttocks.Angel choir singing in the background.
Because let's face it , the leather armor probably take half a hour to strip ...with all the buckles and stuff.
Last time people were talking about this topic , I think a mod warned us?
Or maybe it was just Pinecone frowning.

Title Breakdown:
Dorian discussion and speculation - This thread is about Dorian Pavus, we are always speculating. chess In a recent twitch feed by Bioware, you see Dorian playing "chess" with Cullen. and sideboob A few pages ago, someone pointed out that Dorian's default attire exposes his side-boob. (nobody tell Fox News) A few years ago, Fox News freaked out about the sex scenes in Mass Effect.
Falling more in love with Dorian. (Though still kinda nervous.) I just... need several things to go right with him before I'm comfortable committing to romancing him with an elf or a qunari. (Or at all b/c you know... if he supports the slavery in his homeland, that's kind of a deal-breaker for me...) I mean it's a pretty low bar for what I need to go right with Dorian, but given where he's from I'm nervous hahaha.

I understand the concerns since it hasn't been confirmed he is against slavery, but I can't say I share them. It would be pretty weird after all to put into his profile that he is against "everything" Tevinter is known for and then bam, he's pro-slavery.

True, I'm also trying to temper my expectations and keep them low, at this point in time haha
