More so that I've replaced "Physical" with "Dorian" in that Olivia Newton-John song.
That sounds like a good reason to remake a song for sure!

Thanks to Dorian I will be making my first ever male protagonist for my second playthrough.
Wish me luck

Luck.
At some point I will make a male character to romance Dorian.
Also I found this piece of art recently and damn does dorian look good. Seems dorian knows how to rock any sort of outfit he is in. No idea if during the ball we can dance with our LIs or not, but if we can, and I was playing a guy romancing dorian this would be just perfect for the ball.
I wonder if you can dance with Dorian at the ball?

Awesome sequel
Thank you so for sharing.

Its hard to say. I appears based on the fact that the inquisitor and leliana are both wearing dress uniforms that you are there as inquisition representitives so there might be a chance to do so but it might be an all business sort of situation so you don't, Really depends how they write it. And will the inquisitor do "the shepard" if you can dance?
I'm not sure if this has been posted previously, so apologies if I'm repeating an already discussed topic ![]()
Jesse Cox (OMFGcata on youtube) posted a DAI game play video that contained a codex entry (Sexuality in Thedas) which specifically talks about Tevinter's view on same sex relationships.
I think it's most likely to do with controlling the breeding slave population. Think about dogs: if you have a star ******, you don't want her having her fun humptimes with the neighbors rescued mutt with one ear, you want to make sure she only breeds with other star dogs, right? I think, if you've got slaves, the same might be true. So if you, as an owner of a slave you want to keep breeding her, you're not going to want her unhappy, so you can't completely deny her sex (if you give your slaves things that don't involve freedom but cause them pleasure, aren't they going to be more loyal to you?) but if she gets pregnant by some random other slave you can't trust that the issue will be any good, and you lose between 3-9 months of breeding time for her (depending how much you trust termination and assuming that it's like the real world and hard to tell if you're pregnant for the first trimester), so you encourage boy slaves to only have sex with boy slaves and girl slaves to only have sex with girl slaves, and voila, very little unwanted breeding, but a settled/no-rebellious slave population.
I wonder if you can dance with Dorian at the ball
Hope this would happen!
I want to Dance with my LI, no matter whom it is.

Spoiler
That codex entry was actually first published in the World of Thedas, which came out last year ![]()
"What I find most interesting is that, despite the lack of open discussion on matters of human sexuality, there is commonality to be found on the subject in all Andrastian lands.
Typically, one’s sexual habits are considered natural and separate from matters of procreation, and only among the nobility, where procreation involves issues of inheritance and the union of powerful families, is it considered of vital importance. Yet, even there, a noble who has done their duty to the family might be allowed to pursue their own sexual interests without raising eyebrows.
The view on indulging lusts with a member of the same gender varies from land to land. In Orlais, it is considered a quirk of character and nothing more. In Ferelden, it is a matter of scandal if done indiscreetly but otherwise nothing noteworthy. In Tevinter, it is considered selfish and deviant behavior among nobles, but actively encouraged with favored slaves. Nowhere is it forbidden and sex of any kind is only considered worthy of judgement when taken to awful excess or performed in the public eye.”

A bit of a spoiler, but I've seen the Inquisitor dance, and he's rather good.

Only three more weeks!!! *does her happy dance, strewing rose petals about the room singing the Hallelujah chorus* ![]()

Yeah, guess I'll be stuck in the dreaded "THIS time I'll try something (someone) else"-loop for a while AGAIN... *sigh*

I know, right? My first playthrough will be canon so it will be my male dual-wielder rogue Inquisitor romancing Dorian. I am curious about what Cullen, The Iron Bull and Blackwall will offer romance-wise but since I've taken it as a given that Inquisition will be my #1 time-sink for the rest of 2014 (and a big chunk of 2015 as well ) I'm going to find out.

I have similar feelings. I mean, I'm also really interested in Bull as well as Dorian, but that could change once I actually play. I wasn't around during the pre-release of DA2 or ME3, but I can easily imagine myself at the time saying I was interested in both Fenris and Anders or both Kaidan and Steve, yet once I played those games, I had a concrete preference almost immediately. Now I pretty much can't convince myself to romance anyone but Kaidan and Anders. So, as much as I like Dorian and Bull at the moment, I'm pretty in a month I'll be staunchly one or the other.
(But luckily, I also enjoy playing female protagonists from time to time and I never romance the same people with different genders, so I'll still have some variety over the countless number of play throughs I expect to have over the years. However, I'll still probably end up in the same situation when it comes to Josephine and Sera since I prefer to keep it gay regardless of gender.)

I have a thing for men who can dance. He looks rather firm and confident while leading the steps. Great animating.
I wonder if only noble humans have the option to dance with Celene.
