It still looks cool... he'll still look cool :-)
It's not such a major change anyway.

I'm not going to cancel my pre-order over it or anything, I'm just a little disappointed in the decision, even if it is minor.
Unique genetic trait or is that some kind of super power?
I mean I can move my nose...oh I guess it doesn't sound so impressive since you're Babar and all.
Yes, I'm Unevenly Curled Mustache Man, protector of the innocent.
The way it's working at the moment is that the mustache is even in length across my upper lip and if I go through the trouble of doing the whole early 1900's gentleman boxer thing/the Dorian and carefully comb and wax it, curling the tips, only the left side will stay that way. The tip on the right side will droop down little by little unless I constantly try to forcefully twirl it like a villain and keeping it in place.
At this old fashioned bar I go to a lot in downtown Napa, there's a bartender who looks a lot like Dorian, but mostly because his 'stache is styled in exactly the same way. He does have a similar facial shape as well. I'm not exactly going to tell him, but I usually think of Dorian when I look at him.

And Keeper of the Realm.

Okay so your stache has a will of its own. You should get tips from Dorian, pretty sure he run drills with his own to tame it:
Pretty straightforward.
Just saw this over on the Twitter thread and thought I'd share.
RIP hazel eyes....
Well, I too prefer hazel eyes which make him more special. ![]()
uh-huh.
Not going to say anything but: I'm pretty disappointed.
I could not tell you the eye color of any of the previous DA companions. And to think that people are having mini meltdowns over this is hilarious.
Remember that they had the a few eye colour bug... iunno why they'd do it last minute otherwise.
If blue eyes are good for anything, is that they are captivating to look at.
I worry that this will make Dorian even more alluring. I think it's reaching deadly levels.
It's a health concern.
Hmmm...my curiosity is officially peaked. I wish to learn more about this blue eyed Dorian. I'm not personally effected by it either way, but anything Dorian news and I want to know more! A lot more!
I don't care all that much , but I wish he would have kept his green eyes because BLackwall , Solas , and even the Bull all have blue/grey eyes.
Anyway my main reaction was not about the eyes but Wait where is the eyeliner!??

Verily.
Eyeliner is clearly the important issue here.
Well Iron Bull doesn't seem to fully believe in the Qun, I mean he doesn't follow it in his own life at all XD However I wonder if he still wants to be Qun follower or not, if he wants I think I will have couple unfriendly conversations with him
Even if he doesn't fully believe in the Qun, he is helping and working for the institution that really treats mages (which Dorian is) horribly. It's just not healthy.
I feel like Iron Bull and Dorian are just paired up together because they're the only ones who are into other guys from the pool of companions/advisers we have.
I'm a real eye guy. Like if you have pretty eyes I'm already half way in love with you. I think the most beautiful/distinctive set of orbs I have ever seen was this amazing yellow/golden colour with this splay of rich hazel and spring green around the pupils and while Dorian's former eyes obviously weren't quite as detailed they did remind me of those eyes so I'm quite disappointed to see them go. Assuming they are gone. I am headcanoning this as just some terrible mistake. I shall live in this denial until I get to stare at them in person.

How's that even possible? ![]()
I mean, allright I can understand that for DAO, but in DA2 too?

I wouldn't bath an eye if they've changed it to darker brown or green, but blue... It's just like a minor white-washing for me. So yeah, I'm a little dissapointed too.
I agree with all of the above, especially speaking as a brown man. First, there are so many blue-eyed characters that it's a bit of an overload even though only very few people actually have blue eyes. Second, this is quite literally, the rarest possible eye colour for brown people, black, dark brown, hazel and green all come before it, so if they wanted to make him more special, I wish they would have gone with any of those, and third... it seriously bugs me that dark brown eyes seem the rarest colour on Thedas.
Also, my likes just seem to be running out the door.
Eye colour it's not important in my opinion. If Dorian is cocky ,charming and sarcastic but a good guy at heart my Inquisitor will fall in love with him. This character in some way is like Dean Winchester or Han Solo.
Just saw this over on the Twitter thread and thought I'd share.
Now he has just about the same eye color as the Inquisitor I planned to have romance him. I will have to think on this. Maybe I'll give my Quizzie his old eye color?
I wonder if they only changed the eye color...I don't really care about it, his eyes are amazing nonetheless... but I miss his eyeliner.
I think the eyeliner is still there, though it is pretty faded. If I up the contrast, you can see the eyeliner wing in the corner of his eye:
