"Dorian" gives us more to work with about the character, yeah, especially in conjunction his that survey bio.
(Heck, even if he's not Dorian any more it'd be good to have a name just so we could put DHMG to rest for a bit.)
All the speculation based on just one screenshot (he's "dramatic" and "moustache-y") really tells us nothing about his personality, background or aims, but a solid name might give some clues.
And if he is Dorian, then I think a lot of things like an explosive relationship with Vivienne start to become easier to imagine.

Did they release a character thing yet?
Nothing so far. Not sure what time it is over there, I hope it's not getting too late in the day because I'm really looking forward to seeing the next one.

I don't know if he's only trolling us but it looks like no followers friday for us.
I hope when I wake up tommorow there will be some news after all... ![]()

Dammit, Gaider. Follower Friday isn't really information, it's just a preview. By next week, we will have worked ourselves back into a frenzied, information starved mass of nerves and conjecture, the likes of which only sweet, sweet glimpses into character motivations and design will fix.
Also, people have been making Dorian's existence way too complicated for way too long. While I'm not saying he's the magister from the comics, or that he's been foreshadowed by anything else, the leaks, concept art, information about class distribution among companions, and trailer all taken together seem pretty much irrefutable at this point.

Thanks!
This is disappointing, I was really looking forward to it.

Wouldn't it be bizarre if instead of head armour/hoods, we just got to customise DHMG's facial hair instead. Twirly moustache gives +10 to cunning.
Disappointing news regarding Follower Friday. However, I am fighting a cold, and housebound as it were. So, I took the opportunity to update my Dragon's Dogma DHMG (Dorian??) homage. Now that we have a better "in-game" look at him, here is my current Dogma take on him:
I love it! I'm getting the urge to replay DD and make a DHMG pawn now. I could drag him everywhere and dream of Thedas. ![]()

It has the best combat of any WRPG* that I've played.
But don't go in expecting DA levels of story and characters, it is worth playing just for the gameplay.

Dragon's Dogma converts? Sounds good to me! Now here is the task: go forth and get your hands on Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen. Next, make your version of DHMG. Connect to Xbox live so your Mustachioed Pawns of fabulousness, are uploaded to the Pawn Rift. Then we will have an army of DHMG Pawns.
*twirls mustache*
P.S. Oh....and take screenshots!

Once I get home from college this year, I'm so gonna be trying out a Sorcerer again. I absolutely love the creativity in the Sorcerer spells.

Definitely some of the best magic I've seen in games. I hope DAI does something similar.

For those who haven't played Dragons Dogma, here are the Sorcerer skills.
They're definitely Magister worthy...
