For those who haven't played Dragons Dogma, here are the Sorcerer skills.
They're definitely Magister worthy...
Holy crap.

I know. I'd love to see DA mages have excess to those kinds of powers.

Just gonna slip this in here..... ![]()
The Ice and Rock skills are crazy as well.
Of course, I imagine they won't be that insane in Inquisition, otherwise seriously, how would the templars stand a chance?

I'm getting a little worried that DHMG is going to be one of the ones we don't know anything about until release. I don't know if Follower Fridays are even going to be a thing anymore, at this point. Maybe they'll just put profiles on the site sometimes. ![]()

Naaa, I'm sure there will be more. Don't worry ![]()
Maybe they'll do two in one month this summer or closer to release?

Better listen to Divi, she is a Goddess of truth and wisdom, having more likes than posts. If she says anything then so shall it be.

You wouldn't make it 5 minutes out of Ferelden.

Pffffft, you clearly know nothing about me then

It would be nice.
I just really want them to tell us if he's Dorian or not. He and the warden are the only ones we don't have a set name for. Maybe it'll come out another way, though, like more trailers or at a con.
"This is adorable". - David Gaider on Tumblr.
He also tagged it DHMG, which made my evening.
(yes, i totally checked, just in case)

DG: This is adorable.
Edit: Was beaten to it. ![]()
It's pronounced "Damage" and the grand irony of his life is that all he can do is cast buffs, stuns, and heals.
Hence his exile from Tevinter, can't have Magister who just buffs...
Why would he be a chevalier? I don't recall that they're known for using tridents and swords together (or tridents for the matter). His dresses don't scream Orlesian to me. Is this about the moustache?
I recall that there in a video, where they shown a wall win concepts, there was one with a similar character that was with another person. Shame they didn't release it.
Anyway, I think he won't be a companion. Other than Gaider's words on the war room, in the leaked survey there were one character that wasn't described as a companion (scribe girl) and another that might not be one (Cullen). Moustache guy could be the same.
Cassandra, Iron Ball and Warden are our Warriors
Varric, Sera and Big Blonde Guy are our Rogues
Vivienne, Solas and Dashing Dave are our Mages
I suspect Cullen, Leliana and Scribe Lady are the head of the three focuses we can take the Inquisition in. Military, Spy Networks and Economics respectively.
I don't understand why everybody belive he'll be the gay romance option, can you please clarify? I would personaly love to romance him with my female inquisitor, so I would rather him be the bi option.
A lot of people are theorizing that the NPCs will be the bi options, because that would give an equal ratio of hetero/homosexual companion LIs. Also, Cullen can't really be gay, since he showed interest in a female before. If he was straight then women would only get one companion LI available (the bi one), while gay/bi men would get two options, presumably. If the NPC romances do turn out to be bi, that means one companion LI should be straight and one gay. People expect (but don't actually know) that the companion LIs will be DHMG and Solas. There's no real evidence for why it would be DHMG and not Solas, but DHMG has pretty consistently been the more popular gay guess.
The most famous fictional Dorian was written by Oscar Wilde, who was probably gay. There's also a literary convention of aristocratic dandies being flamboyantly gay in late Victorian England and France - the real people who they seemed to have used as artistic inspiration for DHMG were also probably involved in relationships with men rather than women.
I'm actually leaning more towards him being bi, but I wouldn't be surprised if he's only an m/m option. Either one works, given the sort of literary and historical influences they seem to be using for the character.
(Though of course, DHMG could be completely different from what I'm imagining - it would be unfair to the writers to assume they aren't doing interesting and new things with that archetype.)
Daily
bump for DHMG. Cannot wait to get confirmation on a name (please be Dorian, please be Dorian) and backstory!

Remember Kaidan? Never say never...
They could say something about DHMG because we have big expectations about this character and I think it will be better to clear things. ![]()
