I still can't decide if I want to romance Dorian with Dalish elf or with Qunari. I think I will just do two playthroughs romancing him so I can do both :3

 

In other hand I think I will romance Iron Bull with dwarf. Should make intresting romance scenes..

That's what I do too

I always try to go for a same-race romance. It feels more natural to me.

I'm going for human mage on my first playthrough and I will be romancing Dorian. I can't see him with any other Inquisitor I have in mind.

From the outset I was all Qunari, then someone here pointed out the interesting dynamic a Tevinter almost-magister and a Dalish elf might have and then I was kinda leaning in that direction but then I saw how crazily handsome that default Qunari was and now I'm leaning in that direction again. Starting to feel like a metronome lemme tell yah.

I have ideas for three different males, so I'm going to end up doing one of them twice.

 

I definitely want to go with a qunari warrior first.  So I'm planning on going with Dorian for him.  I kind of want the opposite of hippo and Leb Dude.  I don't want my character to romance someone who's the same race/class combo.  So I'm thinking that Bull is out for this guy.*

 

Then I'm definitely going with a dwarf rogue next.  I love the idea of him with Bull.  A scrappy little dwarf rogue with a giant monstrous sized qunari warrior just makes me happy. 

 

The last guy idea I have is for a qunari mage.  I'd love to see if IB's romance plays out any differently with another qunari, so I'm going to go with IB for this guy.**

 

* Unless IB charms the pants of the qunari warrior in the first playthrough, in which case he'll drop Dorian and ride the Bull.

** Meaning that the qunari mage will get Dorian and I'll play him before I do the dwarf so I can see both romances.

 

For my "canon", I'll go back and recreate my favorite options (most likely the qunari warrior) and decisions and will just pick whichever romance I liked best.

I'd like to pick something not human, because of the racial issues. Female Qunari Mage, though I think it was only in Origins people commented on gender.
So a Qunari Mage, but I've been tempted to make my own Quizzy before the game came out, and he turned out Human. 
But a Mage still, so I can get some **** from people. Makes me happy.
 

 

As for the question about my tumblr, I just changed the name. I tried to get a hold on my old one, but someone got there before me.

I initially had been planning to run my Human Mage, Gale, but recently I have become very attached to my fiery Qunari Mage Lugh Adaar. I would totally go for Lugh were it not for that damn extra spell Gale would get from being human.

Think I'm gonna go with a handsome, calm, redhead. Something to sort of be at odds with Dorian's more sassy attitude. Opposites attract and all.

My canon play will be a black human mage inquisitor for Dorian, diplomatic, aggressive, and arcane knowledge talk options frequently. Anti circle and chantry. Undecided on my two most used world states though...

Elf mage for Dorian. I can't grow facial hair either, so I sympathize with my Elven brethren. For personal reasons the DA Elves really make it easy for me to get my roleplaying juices flowing (ew why the hell did I say that ) which is hard for me to do lately with my current jobs.  

 

Male Dwarf (so fine) Rogue for Bull. If I can stand Bull (too much machismo and I'll loose interest).

 

Not that interested in the Uber-Man Qunari type, personally. Though I can see interesting role-playing potential with some characters (not really Bull, though, as it would be more interesting, imo, for a Qunari agent to fall for a elf/dwarf/human than even a Vashoth).

 

If the game is as big as they say, though, I'll probably make it through that first char months and months from now and maybe get through another playthrough one day.... maybe

I really wanted to play an elf mage first, but now that I know more about the party and all about the romances I'm going with rogue.  My main party will probably be Dorian, Vivienne (swapped out for personal quests), and Casandra/IronBull (which ever I liked the best).  I love the idea of mage on mage romancing Dorian, but I feel like having him and Viv on the team together would be a lot of fun so a rogue just makes more sense.  

 

Mind you I'm 100% going to make a run romancing him as a mage in time.  I'm probably going to romance him with every class and race combination eventually.  Well, maybe not, cause I'll probably find a favorite race at some point and mostly stick with that, but it is fun to imagine all the possibilities.
