Then I thought how limited my party choices would be most of the time if I wanted to keep it balanced bc two mages at all time means I pretty much always need a rogue and warrior in my party, depending on the quest. And I desperately want Viv and Dorian in my party bc David Gaider said he likes their interactions the best.
So now I'm thinking human two handy warrior. But I always play mage first so I'm torn. Will prob do warrior first and then mage second playthrough. I swear one day I will romance someone other than D because they all seem so interesting!

I'm probably going to romance him with every class and race combination eventually.
I feel like this is my mantra regarding Dorian. Romance him with all the things. Though I'll have to do it with my human male warrior first. Not sure about the specialization, but a mage/templar dynamic with the overarching mage/templar war in mind piques my curiosity. The parallel between the Trevelyan background and Dorian's own upbringing back in Tevinter is another angle of interest to me.

I had my heart set on romancing Dorian with an elven mage. I spent an embarrassing amount of time obsessing over the perfect name for him and I was basing his personality kind off of JGL in Inception.

This is the same issue I'm having. I think I'm going to change from mage to a Qunari Rogue for my first playthrough, so I can keep Dorian in my party the entire time and not have to worry about completely ignoring Viv and Solas.

A snug nug is a good nug.
Now throw him at the Inquisitor before the bastard knows what hit him.

I would be really sad if Iron Bull hurt the rare Nugmadilo. They are so rare that they only come up from the Deep Roads in winter.

Yes! This is the qunari warrior that I want to make more than anything. I guess I'll have to make one that looks just like him except with a mohawk.
I love this Inquisitor. He's my fav fanart Inquisitor, by far.

Question: do broken horns hurt?
EDIT:
Also, how do qunari sleep? Back curving horns would be awkward and/or get caught in the bedding if you tried sleeping on your back or rolled over in your sleep and I mean IB would NEVER be able to roll over with those things and if you slept with him your pillow would have to be at like armpit level cuz otherwise his horns are probably gonna be all up in your face.

I don't think so. I may be wrong, but I would assume since they can be removed completely they probably don't have any nerve endings. Though I could be completely wrong on that, as I don't have horns. ![]()

Yeah I have absolutely no idea how they sleep

Don't Qunari fear their hornless because they know how much it hurts to remove them? That's why Saarebas always have their horns removed... i think

I haven't heard that, but then again I generally don't read the lore about the Qun as they are my least favorite race. I'm sure you are more likely to be correct then me when it comes to the Qunari. ![]()

From the wiki:
Most Qunari of any gender have horns though some do not. The horn itself has no nerve endings and can be painlessly removed much like human nails or hair. But once a horn is cut off, it will not grow back.
Hornlessness is a rare genetic variation in Qunari, akin to red hair in humans. Those born without horns are considered special and are often given prestigious roles in Qunari society such as a Ben-Hassrath or an envoy to the other races.[6] Sten, who became a companion of the Warden as a soldier of the Beresaad, falls into this category. Culturally, Qunari associate not having horns with being imposing or scary, and because of this Tal-Vashoth often decide to remove their own horns.[7] Likewise, Saarebas, the Qunari mages, have their horns removed to warn of their danger.[8]

It depends on where the break occurs, likely. If their horns are like livestock horns, then there are indeed blood vessels and nerve endings in them, but closer to the scalp. The closer to the tip, the less nerve endings. It's why dehorning cattle has to happen when they are young and requires anesthesia but cutting the tip is relatively simple.
With how they sleep? I'd say they sleep face up or face down depending on how their horns are shaped. I think of Memoirs of a Geisha, where they had to sleep with their heads raised on little platforms in order to keep their hair from getting flattened.

Goddamn they're cute. Really like to see other peoples Quizzies.
I wonder if the new CC will allow us to create at least something similar to this though.

Inquisitor: I'm coming Blackwall
Dorian: Oh No you're not!
Inquisitor: But I'm going to be late.
Dorian: What did I tell you?
Inquisitor: I can't leave Skyhold without giving you at least five kisses first.

I'm with you there. These are my new favorites, bar none.
It's odd how I can find a piece of fanart, and say "YES! Exactly! That's exactly what he'd look like!" It's actually happened once before, with my second planned inquisitor.
Too bad the short hair isn't an option, though. I would have loved to have it for my qunquisitor.
And Dorian's not looking to bad, either. This is a very good art style.
