The only Dorian-related spoiler I found on tumblr so far has nothing to do with the romance alas.

It has something to do with his fate, but I've no idea what the hell it's suppose to mean exactly and it's probably for the best.

I hear you. Just a few days ago I was lecturing my fiance for looking at spoilers. And then in the dead of night I broke down and decided to look around the spoiler areas a bit. Clicked a few spoiler tags, watch a few IB romance videos.... Nothing too spoilery. But then I accidentally stepped on a few landmines. I still don't know a lot of the big time spoilers like who the final boss is and crap like that. But I definitely saw a few spoilers that left me a bit sad. lol 

 

Now when I lay in bed at night, my fiance will lean over and whisper all the spoilers I accidently read into my ear. lol The bastard.

I love how so many people in the fandom are married, grown adults (most of the time). I don't know any gaming adults and I find it really cool when I see a mature person playing video games

Ew. I don't like to think of myself as a grown adult. lol Everyone I know who thinks of themselves as such are boring tedious people.

Or, and bear with me on this, "grown adults" between the ages of 25 and 40 grew up with video games so they don't see them as a children's game.  At least that's how I see it.  Most of my friends play video games, male and female.  And I'm, *gasp*, closer to forty than thirty now.

It seems we first encounter him earlier but he only actually joins the Inquisition at the end of that Redcliffe mission with Leliana and Alexius. Not sure if it's always the case because the guy streaming skipped over most cutscenes and dialogue, but in his game this was just before we moved to Skyhold.

Dorian is pretty likeable all around. He has a quip for every occasion, and he isn't shy about voicing his thoughts. In fact, Dorian comes from a wealthy family, and his enhanced skill for magic led to him being groomed from a young age for the Tevinter Imperium. However, Dorian turns his back on his homeland and family. To say he's jaded is an understatement, but he masks it well with his sarcasm. Underneath it all, however, he still believes things can be fixed, and he takes it hard when he sees things getting even worse. Dorian's a smart guy and sees through facades, so he'll know when you're putting up a front. If you want to win him over, you're best to be straight up with him and not skirt around things. Being an outcast hasn't made his life easy, but maybe all he needs is a little extra support as he deals with the consequences.

Okay, more details on how to meet Dorian:

As I said, recruiting him seems to be a later thing, but meeting him can be done quite early. Like, as early as Blackwall and before some other characters. In the video I watched, the guy had just got Blackwall and hadn't met Bull, Vivienne or Cole when he met Dorian. You meet him in Redcliffe Village after talking to the leader of the rebel mages and some other story shenanigans.
