We do not speak of those dark times.... ![]()

Wait what's Dorian's eye colour exactly?
Now it's gray.
I miss calling him DHMG...
We can still call him that, lol. ![]()
Oh boy, I gonna miss those nicknames from DA2.

This one:
Spoiler
And if you are indeed thirsty for spoilers, maybe you want to join the spoiler group?
That video's been taken down, unfortunately. I don't mind spoilers, though, and if anyone has seen it and knows what happened, feel free to message me ![]()
I'm worried that it's Dorian's romance arc that will end up with him leaving to "make the world a better place"...which if that's the case, I hope there's a selfish option to keep him with your inquisitor.

Ok I saw a video and I do agree with someone that suggested it may not be him leaving to save the world. Below is a spoiler for another characters side quest

That review could also be talking about Cassandra since she's also an LI for a male Inquisitor and she seems to be just as much of an idealistic do-gooder as Dorian is. (Which is why I love both of them so much.) She also seems like the type who would put duty over her own feelings.

ah yes, someone inboxed me and told me, though I assumed it was a "particular character" from the way this character is portrayed in game. She seems the "save the world" type. But then some speculation in this thread made me worried. Shame for those who romance that individual though...and I hope there's an alternate choice to make. Sink all that time and effort into a romance and then have to let them go. Like real life *sigh*
Maybe Dorian will rule Tevinter, lol. And you can be his "queen".

Is terra a Dorian recruitment vid anywhere?
As far as I could tell, not yet (but if someone has one let me know!) There was one youtube channel who did it for all of the companions and included their f first conversation after recruitment (including the advisers), except for Dorian. ![]()

Well, at least now I know Dorian will be a Permanent Benchwarmer. I will not have people who support slavery follow me around.

Anyway, regarding the romance that could end due to the LI's altruism, I found something in the spoiler thread, that if true, more or less confirms which one it is.
HUGE, MASSIVE SPOILERS REGARDING A MAJOR CHOICE IN THE GAME IF TRUE. SO IF YOU DON'T WANT TO KNOW SOMETHING THIS BIG, STOP HERE!!!
I mean it.

@hippo: To be fair - there ARE things I believe you don't "get better from".
If I met a rapist or a murderer - I don't "get to know them" in the hopes that they'll show me their secret happy side.
Slavery - real slavery - is a pretty hideous thing. I don't disrespect anyone who doesn't give Dorian a chance if he's pro-slavery (I do not know "what" he is - as I am mostly avoiding spoilers)

Well, from the spoiler, that's really not an effective analogy for what Dorian has said about slavery so far. That would be an effective analogy for if I said it about Danarius.

The thing is, we still don't know a great deal about his views and his whole thoughts about the slavery and people already... worried.
And I can assure you, there's nothing in those 2 spoilers above that suggest that he's pro slavery.

Well to me it looks like they are setting up an arc for him. Keep in mind that people can change, Dorian doesn't come off as pro-slavery, just that he never thought about it. I can't wait to get to learn more about dorian as he seems cool and a fun companion to have around ![]()
Though speaking of slavery, how would they handle slavery in Tevinter if the next game was set in tevinter. As it is clear not everyone would want to work with pro-slavery people, of which tevinter has.

I'm not at all upset that he doesn't seem to be an abolitionist or anything, (I think it's interesting and realistic) but:
