Hey guys! I've heard that Dorian makes a comment that he and the Treveleyan inquisitor are distantly related. I've completed his romance as a human mage and never got him to say anything like that, he just asked me about the circle. I was wondering what you have to do/say to get that dialogue to trigger, or does he only mention it if you're not a mage? Thanks!
I think it might just be a non-mage Trevelyan thing, since mages have their own dialogue with him.
Well Dorian-ites, I've done it. After 99 1/2 hours of gameplay with my qunari warrior Knight in Shining Armor, I've done it.

Haha aww, little spoon qunari looks a little ridiculous. Although, I'm pretty sure they shrink Trevelyan during that scene because Dorian is suddenly taller than him despite the fact I never noticed a height difference before that. (Unlike with Cullen who is apparently pretty short.)

I only noticed while we were at the Orleasian ball. He was a full head shorter than me there.

I love little spoon Adaar. It's a little silly looking, but it's totally something that happens in relationships where one is significantly taller than the other one. Nice little touch.

Same. I didn't get it either. Maybe it's a bug? Like perhaps it doesn't trigger if you're a mage for some reason.

Of all of the people for that to happen to, I'm sorry that it's you, my friend. Hopefully you can figure it out. I think that about 10 pages ago there was a discussion about this. I didn't pay much attention, though, so I can't help you out.

Did you do Friend in Quranis and Dorian's Request at the war table? I don't know if the Quranis one did it, but it triggered after I did those two.
I think one thing I miss about Dragon Age II is that the romance sequences are divided up into the three parts, whereas with Inquisition, if you're really eager, you could use up almost half the romance arc pretty early in the game.
I can only blame myself and my fascination with Dorian that I did such a thing...
Before I knew it, I realised half the adventure of that plot was a little more than half-way over and I'm like "WHAT!? Damnit!".
I went back to see what happens if I choose the wait option, and Dorian is as adorable as ever. Definitely both options feel equal as far as the romance goes.
I am not romancing Dorian since I'm playing a female. I just wanted to say how tasteful, tactful, deep and moving Dorian's personal quest was and how wonderfully was it handled. I am impressed and I can't wait to see what's next. I'm in love with this game and all the characters. Thank you for all of this

I love how expressive they've gotten the facial expressions in the game. You can tell, without them saying anything, what they are feeling. Sad Dorian makes my heart hurt, he looks like he's about to cry during the scene
Then there's this. Deliciously wolfish, it's like a predator circling its prey. Good thing my boy was interested already, I can't imagine being able to turn him down XD

I didn't get the Felix conversation at all, and I am 90 hours into the game, have finished Here Lies the Abyss, and have exhausted all my possible dialogue options with Dorian. And still Mother Giselle will not show up. Every other companion is working fine for me, but not Dorian.
This is really effing disheartening.

I don't know. The HUD disappears during dialogue, and I hit my response with my finger over the screencap button, so I can get a pic right away once the text goes away. I don't know if the HUD can be hidden.

Then you get the cutscene about Felix, and then Giselle spawns in the great hall. She may not arrive immediately, you might have to travel out and back, but for me on my three characters, she showed up when I went downstairs after the Felix cutscene.

I mean, he DID say that he was hoping to go for something more primal.
He did XD It made me laugh. My elf looks like he'd be all proper and serious, and the juxtaposition with Dorian is great.
