GAH. I'M SO FREAKING IRRITATED. I HAVE EXHAUSTED ALL OF DORIAN'S DIALOGUE, AND STILL MOTHER GISELLE WILL NOT TALK TO ME. I HAVE FINISHED HERE LIES THE ABYSS.
I feel for you. I actually got that conversation yesterday even before any of the main quests.
Dorian has been the fastest to gain approval with for me each playthrough so far.

After listening to the 2 Chantry ladies just outside Haven's Chapel, and how one commented on the other "walking funny", I think thats a bridge I won't cross.
Unless I play a Qunari at some point.
I was suppose to say something about Dorian, but I forgot. Instead I'll just say he's incredible, and I think my 3rd Inquisitor will be pulled into Dorian's arms.
Well, I'm reasonably sure that Dorian is my favorite companion. I wish I could bring up elven issues with him more often, but I think I've actually garnered no disapproval from him, at least that I can remember.

Bull has always been a great character. What I absolutely hate is that it's so damn late in the game that I have missed a lot of great flirt/romance lines from him that would have come up earlier in the story. I'm glad to romance him, but I'm pretty damn angry at the Dorian bug for throwing off the entire romance for me.

You're not missing much. Every flirt option you have with IB goes completely over his head or he takes it literally. Any flirty-ish banter doesn't start until you've inititated sexy-times.

A shame you don't play on pc bro. I happily would have shared my save file with you where you can have access to the Dorian romance right away.

Perhaps. I just feel like I am already at the end of the damn game and I didn't even get the chance to romance someone for the first 92 hours of my playthrough.

I restarted my first DA2 game when I was into Act 3 after realizing I fcked up the Fenris 'mance, so I know those feels. 
At least with IB you're not missing any flowery scenes.

Yeah, I know. I'm much like Dorian in that regard, I react to others' feelings with humor and/or sarcasm (never serious anyways), which isn't easy for the other person, even if that other person is me myself, who knows better, in a videogame. 
Anyways, there are moments where he shows his true feelings and those are touching.
So I just watched the Iron Bull/Dorian romance on youtube and did anyone else feel that Dorian was much more open about his feelings towards Bull than with the PC? I mean, his romance was okay, but the IB/Dorian romance was much more heartfelt than what the PC got with Dorian, IMO.

I didn't get that all. On Bull's side maybe, but Dorian mostly seemed uncomfortable and embarrassed about it. He never seemed to feel that way about his relationship with the Inquisitor.

I guess, but there was something more innocent and cute about Dorian's relationship with Iron Bull than with the PC, from what I saw. I never felt that Dorian said anything straight to me and was always hiding behind his smugness and sarcasm, whereas with Iron Bull, his embarrassment was closer to actually showing some sort of caring towards Bull than with the PC. I dunno how exactly to explain it, but it was just a better romance to me.

Yeah, I also didn't get that sense at all. He seemed super uncomfortable and wanted people to not talk about it. With the PC, while he wasn't always the most romantic, he was always comfortable about the fact he was in a relationship with the PC and pretty protective of it and the PC.
Edit: I think the only reason he was more open with Bull relationship is to show that there is a relationship there. I'd have rather they kept him more with the PC way of 'yes, we are, you want a diagram?' than 'stop talking about it, yes we are happy, leave it alone! I don't want to talk about it!'

Gaider knocked it out of the park this game. Dorian and Cassandra are fantastic characters. Just top notch. Easily among my favorite DA companions of all time.

I had him in one that had a draped cape-thing over his left shoulder, in shiny gold. It was ugly XD Even Dorian couldn't work that one. Solas is wearing it now haha.
