What is the absolute very fastest way to get Dorian ASAP ?
How long does it take?
I guess you don't get him from the very beginning?

Side with the mages rather than the templars in order to get him as soon as possible. It'll still take six or seven hours to get to that point, though.

I love how sweet he is. He's funny, sarcastic, and so very full of himself, but he has a soft heart. Such an absolutely perfect mix.

Well, I just came back from the land of the dead finished my first playthrough and I romanced Dorian (of course!). I'm pleased to say he vastly surpassed my expectations. Oh, Dorian. The things you say, Amatus. 
I'm really irritated at the tumblr posts lately (not many, but a few) that have popped up over him being "pro-slavery" when he's obviously not. He was raised around it, thought it was "normal" until he came down south. And even in banter, he's never rude to Solas or Sera (beyond mage rivalry or Sera just being Sera). It seems to me that it's heavily implied that he isn't for "slavery" and may even want to eradicate it in Tevinter entirely. Especially during the Well of Sorrow's conversation you have with him after that quest. He's so inspired then to make Tevinter better.
Just getting tired of the hate he doesn't deserve. What, people can't change?
The thing about Tumblr is that it's filled with people who don't actually know what they're talking about and need something to be offended by in every single game, tv show, or movie there is.

I'm at the point where I'll make posts about certain characters, tag them into their character tags, but never go into the tags themselves.

I just finished my first playthrough and I have to say I adore Dorian. The writing is top notch, the voice acting is fantastic and he is total eye candy. Well, maybe not while wearing the hideous yellow plaidweave robe, but...

Ok question for fellow Dorian fans. How do I get him to talk to me more?!
I don't mean just romance, (My main Inquisitor is a FemQunari romancing Sera, but she'll still flirt Dorian to hell and back.) I want to do more of his normal friend quests. I only got as far as the war table mission "The Name of our Enemy" or something like that. He doesn't say thing new to me at all.
Do I need more approval? How do I do that then?
I even took him with me to the grand ball in Orlais. With all the intrigue, scheming, and assassination plots, I figure he'd have a blast.

I've never gotten Dorian to comment on any specialisations I've done... and that's been as a mage. xD Shame. Wonder what he says to necromancy.
Also the video's golden, very smooth indeed.
