Reading the sexuality speculation always makes me nervous. I still wish they'd have just made non-LI companions the "set sexualities" if they wanted to talk about stuff like being gay in Thedas. Siiiiiiiiiigh.

The probability that DHMG is the gay or bisexual LI is pretty good given the other male companions' situations.

It's nice to say, but honestly there's no way I'm not going to be a bit stressed about it until we know. He could just as easily not be the m/m option. There's not actually any real evidence either way.

Grey Warden is the oldest of the bunch. It would be nice to have an "older" LI for once, but it is unlikely. 

Cole is a spirit. He is asexual.

Iron Bull is a Qunari. It would be nice to have a Qunari LI. This is still up in the air, but I don't believe they would make the only Qunari an exclusive romance to M/M.

Varric is almost "confirmed" to be straight, not to mention he's still technically hung up on Bianca.

 

Out of those 4, only Grey Warden and Iron Bull can qualify as the bisexual LI. Qunari/Dwarf romances seem to verge on the "ridiculous", so frankly I have strong doubts about IB being an LI given that we can be a dwarf.

Solas, as a male elf, is very likely to be an LI. However, given that he is an elf, I doubt they would not allow him to be a potential male romance for women. It is much more likely he is bisexual, not M/M.

 

Cullen has straight inclinations. He can technically be bisexual, since we know nothing other than his infatuation with women, but this also rules out M/M.

 

This leads to the only "logical" M/M choice to be DHMG. The developers can be unpredictable, but this is all fair assumption.

 

I personally believe in it.

 

In any case, all the male companions have something unique about them and whoever the M/M LI is, I'm sure we'll be quite satisfied.
