Solas, as a male elf, is very likely to be an LI. However, given that he is an elf, I doubt they would not allow him to be a potential male romance for women. It is much more likely he is bisexual, not M/M.

 

Cullen has straight inclinations. He can technically be bisexual, since we know nothing other than his infatuation with women, but this also rules out M/M.

 

This leads to the only "logical" M/M choice to be DHMG. The developers can be unpredictable, but this is all fair assumption.

 

I personally believe in it.

 

In any case, all the male companions have something unique about them and whoever the M/M LI is, I'm sure we'll be quite satisfied.

That was my thinking, as well. Of the (probable) remaining companions, I think Solas and DHMG have the best chances of being love interests. I assume that Solas would be bisexual instead of DHMG, simply because I'd be really surprised if they made the male elf M/M exclusive. Pleased, but surprised.

 

Honestly, I'd be shocked if DHMG wasn't available for a male Inquisitor to romance. I'm just hoping he might like the ladies as well.

 

I mean, I'll romance him either way (no problem playing male characters), but my first character is always a woman, and DHMG is BY FAR the companion I'm most interested in. Sooooooo if he could just love everyone, that'd be great. Then everyone is happy!

While I still like his final look, I am more partial to his concepts(and a few fan interpretations), he has more character. Of course we've only seen one angle, I'm sure he'll be amazing regardless.

To be honest I'll just be pleased if he's romanceable at all, since with the set sexualities I'll probably be playing both genders anyway, but I'm secretly hoping to romance him as a male specifically. Ever since they gave us Kaidan in ME3 I've got a taste for M/M in my video games and I think I'd like to continue exploring that, unhealthy though it may be for my real dating life.

It's funny that we know basically next to nothing about our companions barring Cassandra and Varric, and yet I just have a feeling DHMG will be a favourite of mine. I'm also cautiously optimistic about Sera and Solas.
