Why couldn't they run out of time with Bull instead?
^^Lol. Now Cullen/Dorian i wouldnt mind seeing if you romance neither..... Which would never happen in my PT's. But anyway. Cullen is sort of squishy. Dorian imo needs squishy every once in awhile even though he mocks you mercilessly for it when you squee at him. I like it. But i hope BioWare dont get too much shyte for it being cut. I was around when Cullen being straight was announced. Dayyyum.

Well, for those stressing about the Dorian/Cullen pairing, cut romance dialogue between a male Inquisitor and Cullen has been found and a former Bioware employee has said on twitter the only reason it was cut was that the cinematic designer ran out of time.

well okay then i stand corrected. Anders is retconned for sure. Cullen should be straight, as he was always straight and it would never make sense if he suddenly fell for a male. There is no way Anders in Awakening could be seen as open to a male. Thank you for clearing it up for me. Allthough im pretty sure it was proven otherwise in DA2 with Anders. But thats right. Retcon

I think he was bringing up what other people would say (and in fact are saying in other places now that the cat is out of the bag), not that he agrees with it.

danm, im usually good at picking up that sort of thing Just goes to show how long my patience would last against idiots talking bollocks, and people trying to tell me how everyone "works".

Looking for advice: I want to play a male Inquisitor romancing Dorian in my next playthrough (just wrapped up my first).
Apparently Dorian's romance has a bug. I didn't even get his personal quest in my previous playthrough. Apparently, the quest is needed to initiate romance. How do I assure that I don't miss out?
Please be as non-spoilery as possible, please. 
^Just don't talk to him often at haven. I think the bug occurs when you trigger a dialogue at Haven that is meant for Skyhold. If you want to be extra safe then side with the Templars so that all your dialogue with Dorian is at Skyhold. So far I haven't ran into the bug.
^ Thanks for the advice! I definitely talked to him a lot at Haven, which may explain the bug.
1 more question: If I side with the Templars (tempting, since I sided with mages in my previous playthrough), will I get less interaction with Dorian? Because I really loved my interaction with him during the mission I got when siding with the mages.
Aside from not doing the Mage side quest with him I think the overall interactions with him are the same. You can still talk to him about Felix et al. And working for Alexius. He will mention you not aiding him with Alexius though, but I was still able to romance him. If you're asking if he appears in the Templar quest, then no. You'll be dealing with Cole and Ser Barris.
Hm, tough call then. New content vs interaction with future LI. Decisions, decisions. I will have to think about this.
