Can anyone explain to me what Dorian's post personal quest tarot card means? >.> And his post romance one, I'm having difficulty understanding with the odd animals <.<

The snake represents Tevinter and Dorian's heritage in all three cards. (It is Tevinter's mascot that way lions are for Orlais and dogs are for Ferelden.) It's poised to strike in his post-personal quest card because that's when the audience finds out this his relationship with his homeland is more insidious than Dorian initially leads you to believe. It's not just a difference in politics or ethics, Tevinter culture almost caused him literal harm, but it's still not something he can separate himself from. He'll keep the snake and his cultural identity, even if if bears him ill-will. Horses tend to represent movement and action, so I would guess Dorian's horse illustrates that after speaking with his father, he has closure with how he left Tevinter and plans to move forward with his life.

 

The snake is more docile in the romance card because the Inquisitor gives Dorian what Tevinter culture told him he could never have. The Inquisitor tames the snake and the emotional baggage that Tevinter left Dorian with.

I'd like to know as well.  He/she did a great job on most of the scenes.  That first kiss with the dwarf though!  OMG I laughed out loud for sure!

Oh, gosh. Does his kissing cinematic not work well with dwarves? I was going to romance him with my dwarf.

I did the romance with a dwarf and it was handled pretty well in my opinion. The height difference was adorable. Especially in the kissing scenes.

But does the kissing scene work properly? Is there massive clipping or anything else off due to the height difference? Not a big deal if there is. I still plan on romancing Dorian.

There is no clipping at all. The height difference is handled properly, with Dorian bending his head slightly down and the dwarf looking up to him while kissing. I even found the dwarf kissing to be the best, because dwarven heads are slightly wider than elven or human heads. The characters don't move their lips while kissing, probably due to engine limitations and this is slightly more obvious in elven or human kissing scenes. The wider dwarven head conceals it more.

 

If you don't mind romance spoilers, you can look up page 612 or 613 of this thread, where I posted some screenshots of Dorian/Dwarf interaction in the game.

Yes, there is some spontaneous growth during some of the scenes, but not all of them. Otherwise, some of them might have looked awkward or would have caused clipping problems, because of the engine most likely. However, I always found it believable and not immersion breaking.

After asking Dorian (Errol Flynn) for a kiss (and receiving it) there is a little jump cut scene thing of Inq and Dorian being by the bed and then suddenly back in the library. Was there content cut (if so sloppily done) from there or is it just a glitchy thing?

I've also noticed the slight growth spurts for my human Quizzy and Dorian. One moment he is taller than Dorian, then the next he is shorter.   I don't know if it's an angle thing or what.

Cass: Talks about him smiling and then asks if he always smile while staring off into the distance (he sort of shrugs this one off by saying he has a great smile and it depends on the length to dinner)

 

Sera: Asks about him and the Inquisitor and asks if it is like jousting, he says fewer horses, but more cheering

 

Varric's is a little less direct, they are actually talking about a bet and Dorian puts the odds against them succeeding, if you tell him to take that bet, he says this is why he adores you (I don't remember if there is anything else)

 

Blackwall: has been asking around the tavern apparently, Dorian calls him out and Blackwall said he was just checking to see if he heard right and wouldn't want to pry into the Inquisitor's business, Dorian offers to draw diagrams.

 

Vivienne: has gotten a letter from a tevinter noble about the "shocking" rumor of the Inquisitor's and Dorian's relationship, Dorian asks (defensively) if she told him everything, she says no (the only thing shocking was his penmanship) Dorian is thankful and Vivienne says she is not so quick to judge, don't make her regret this

 

Cole: says Dorian is happy, Dorian replies "is that what this bubbly feeling is?" then Cole says and now you are smiling, it is good!

 

I don't know if Bull comments and I don't think that Solas does.

Oh those Ken doll bodies, as long as you don't pay attention to that, I like it, though can I admit, I never liked how the Inquisitor keeps his arms out like that just before the scene shifts to after sex.

Guys, Mr. Gaider told me on twitter that Dorian's cinematic designer was Mike Thistle. Unfortunately, he doesn't appear to be on twitter so my plan to praise him directly was thwarted.

Yes the Ken doll thing is rather creepy  lol... but loving the different angles thing since I got to see the really nice kiss/"let's go again" part at end 

 

After 3 playthroughs romancing Dorian, I made a dual wield rogue elf (I really like how he turned out in the CC  ) who will romance Dorian. Problem is, since I really liked how he turned out, and because some dialogue got me curious about a mage elf playthrough, I made one... It will be my 4th playthrough as mage... duh lol. And for variety he will romance Dorian

Really really wish they'd have gone with at least light body hair. The bodies just look so plastic to me(not even going to mention...there)

You got these amazing face textures with pores and scars and blemishes and such and then...flat textured bodies.

Games are getting to the point where the little things start sticking out a LOT more than they used to. The whole uncanny valley thing I guess. Oh well.
