Yeah, I did the same thing one game and proceeded on like normal and had no problem romancing him. He's probably the companion who's bad side is the hardest to get on.
I was just thinking about this last night. Yes, Fenris would initially lunge and Dorian would just woah woah it to make the peace. Fenris can be reasoned with sure but he's got some deep seeded issues, and Dorians dialogue about slaves not being that bad off? Oy... would be a wonderful fic!

Also, I think there is a pretty good chance that Dorian will go into any meeting knowing who Fenris is ahead of time (Fenris is included in the Tale of the Champion and Dorian is the biggest researcher/book worm we have, if Cassandra and the Inquisitor has read it, so has Dorian). But BWs track record has always favoured male gamers (Leliana, Morrigan, Isabella) and whose superfangirls (Cullen). I dont think they will prioritize a gay LI interest? I do hope so, but considering the size of fan base for Dorian, I dont think its likely.

Hello my fellow Dorianites I need to ask some advice . I will be staring my third play through and want to go the Templar route as in I want to do Champions of the Just instead of In Hushed Whispers , so how do I but have Dorian not hate me ? lol I still wanna romance him but I have read the Templar mission is something to be seen and Dorians entrance is awesome . I am back with another question! First game I didn't romance Dorian & he & Iron Bull started their relationship. Now that I'm in Dorian's romance I'm worried about Iron Bull stealing him away. Can that happen? I noticed some of the flirtatious banter starts out the same (Dorian: you would see me bound & leashed? IB: I'd buy you dinner first.) I don't want to miss out on good banter but I'm wondering if I need to keep them apart. Lol. Such a first world problem.

Just be sure to flirt and you should be fine. Dorian's flirts are so fun I don't know why you wouldn't in the first place.

Fenris' deadpan would make him an excellent straight man for Dorian's snarking. Although I think that Fen's belief that Tevinter can't be changed would strike up a fair bit of debate with Dorian.

I actually prefer serious Dorian to snarky or playful Dorian. It happens rarely enough that it's nice to see when it does.

Very nice. I had cool colors too in one of my playthroughs... In my main however, I focused on stats and got meh brown, plaid green bleh and mossy-purple metal... sigh...

Most of my stuff ended up being red at the end thanks to dragon scales/webbing/whatever parts of the dragon I was using. Also, for some reason I couldn't understand, the formal attire ended up being the best gear I could have stuck Dorian in. It was at the same armor stat as my supreme light armor of the dragon. So I always found it funny that I had these heavily armored characters and then Dorian in the ball attire
Hey so what's up with being able to break up with Dorian after you start his romance? Cass and Cullen don't have that option. Why is it assumed I'd want to break up with him? It's like Sera, why is she the only one I can kick out with a dialogue tag immediately and not viv? Unfair, I'm tempted to click it and then reload!
I actually wondered about the same thing, I don't know, it feels like the romance never "locks", you know? Which is completely stupid in my opinion.
