Hello, I've seen you visit a number of threads and throw out one line tailor-made to be contrary to the spirit of that thread.
I'm posting this for the benefit of those who haven't noticed yet, in the hopes that they take it into consideration before they let anything you say bother them.

I tried romancing Dorian the Alternative way. By having Dorian kiss my Quizzy. It worked and the scene was great but it's like the game didn't even register that we were together. Meaning, I got the "This will begin the romance" warning that allowed Dorian to kiss him, then when I went to talk to Dorian to do the whole "I need to talk to you/Kiss" Instead there was another "This will start the romance" warning. I went ahead and clicked it and got the regular convo to agree to a relationship. Then I tried to get the making out cut scene again. I got the heart option to talk to him I selected the making out dialogue but no cut scene. It's basically the same as the "i wanna spend time with you" option.
Is that a bug or will the making out cut scene not trigger if you pick the alternative path?
I reloaded and began the relationship with my Quizzy kissing Dorian and got the making out scenes no prob.
Does anyone have any favorite images of Dorian as a fashion model? Favorite outfits you've put on him and such?
So far this is the best outfit I've made for Dorian. I've also made the same outfit for Solas and my Quizzy. Ending the game with some style. 
And then there's Iron Bull breaking up the party's matching ensemble. smh. lol! I tried to get Bull to match too but it just was not happening.

I pretty much always have him in Grey Warden armor once I get the schematic for the mage one. I'm pretty obsessed with both the mage and rogue versions, but Dorian always looks downright dashing in it.

I love that armor for Dorian. The fact that it has such a high melee defense boost makes it even better.
This is a sad scene and I will never see it in my game since Dorian is my favorite companion. But still I think you should all know that Dorian can also be punched, just like Solas. However it seems you have to visit Redcliff, meet him and tell him you'll help then go on and choose templars for it to happen.

Ugh, that scene just breaks my heart, especially the romanced version of it. I hate the fact he is one of the companions you could punch. I hate that I can punch him when he is mad, but I can't hug him when he is sad 
.
Also, you don't need to do that, but it is one of the things he will mention when he leaves you, just like he will mention the elves, but he can leave you well before that. All it takes to get this scene is extremely low approval.
Yeah, it kind of baffles me why they would allow players to get physically violent with Dorian.

No, you have to be a constant dick to him and make choices that he constantly disapproves. It seems this player didn't ally with the ancient elves at the Temple of Mythal.This is a sad scene and I will never see it in my game since Dorian is my favorite companion. I met him in Redcliffe (because I couldn't help it, I had to look at him, lol) and even got him to show up at Haven at the start of Hushed Whispers. I then chose the Templars because I haven't played that way yet (and everyone says Calpernia is a great villain). Damn, I felt really crappy doing it though. I saved just in case I got the "flailing dragon" speech.
But...it never came. At Skyhold, there was a blip during his initial joining convo that he mentions me running off and joining the templars, but he says "so be it" and that's that. I was super nice, and practially coddled him, killed two Venatori for him, and got his personal quest right after and we've been BFF's ever since.
Ah, I did choose "Corypheus must be destroyed", but that was before Dorian joined officially. Either way, never got that scene, or the flailing dragon speech.
Even when I do my ******* Quizzy run, Dorian will be my romance and everyone else will hate me, lol. Except maybe Solas. I plan on being a crazy mage who hates everyone not a mage. Should be interesting.

What I was saying is ...we should only be able to get violent with companions when they do something really awful.
I don't think I will be able to do that in game.

No prob, I wish I had closer shots of Dorian wearing it. I could never snap a good shot. I do have him dressed in the same armor but with fabric from Empress du Lion. I'll try to get some better shots of that. Is there anything Dorian looks bad in? 
Also, I'm jealous of the snake motif he's got going. It's usually on everything crafted for him. On one outfit I saw a snake wrapped around his shoulder and with the hissing waste armor it's his boots.

Woah there's an alternative way to initiate kisses? After his personal quest? Please enlighten me as I reload!!
Yeah, I think you have to have at least flirted with him before and/or choose the heart icon in the tavern "I've done it before" after asking the "Company of men" question. When you get the cut scene at skyhold don't select the heart icon "Good things" Just tell him he's brave or something. You'll get the argument between him and Giselle. Click on him for the scene. Then you can get an icon and warning that if you pick it the relationship will begin. If you pick the "If you're capable" he'll kiss you and the relationship is supposed to begin. Apparently there is another way that simply involves the two of you talking about having a relationship and it will begin, that one is my least favorite.

I'm glad I got to see my Quizzy have that scene but I didn't trust continuing the story with it.
This exact thing happened to me, and I had to reload. For some reason, going this route seems to bug the kissing scene. It's too bad since I prefer Dorian initiating the "romance" first rather than the Inquisitor.
Me too. I'm just going to consider that my canon even though I had to reload and go after him myself. I picture my quizzy as a bit shy and unsure with love so making Dorian the aggressor works so much better. And it fits with my canon of Dorian taking charge in the bedroom and telling my Quizzy how to "Inquisit" him. My Quizzy gives orders all day long so it's good to come home and have someone order him about for a change. I guess I could say that IB would have correct about my Quizzy if I had romanced him, but he would have been so wrong on my guy being cool with the dom/sub thing. My Quizzy wants a partner who tells him what to do, not a master.
Edit: Don't worry about getting the "Flailing Dragon" speech. You can recover from that. I ended up getting it after siding with the Temps (I meet him at the Chanry). So he started out not liking my Quizzy. He officially joined at skyhold then I talked to him too much and noticed that he got testier until he started ranting and I got the "Flailing Dragon" speech. lol! I just told him I didn't want him to leave, killed some Venatori and did his war table missions and we were good to go.
btw, how do you get the scene of him talking about the family relation? I've heard of it but never got it and I've played nothing but Trevelyans
