I rather hope we get something like ME3's Citadel DLC club infiltration mission, or the MotA party, but where you get to pick a partner to attend with you and the others have to sneak in or act as back up or something. You could meet some of the high flyers in Orlesian society and indulge in some intrigues.

 

The idea of picking something stylish for my Inquisitor to wear and strolling in with DHMG on his/her arm is really appealing to my frivolous side. Especially if it's an Inquisitor elf/Qunari with the outcast Tevinter Magister.

 

There should something like that. it is Orlais.

They've been hinting at an Orlesian ball mission almost since the start of development, so I think it's almost assured.

I hope so, especially if it is a whole mission in itself and you're able to get properly involved in it.

It would be a shame if it just ended up being something brief and generalistic, like attending but not really talking to people much (if it was just a brief starting point for the main mission.

I think you have a better chance of hell freezing over. Although...between Dorian, Leliana, and Viv, I'd bet they could make her look absolutely stunning.

Oh lordy, I can just picture Vivienne herding dressmakers around her to take her measurements, holding up bits of fabric and making comments while Cassandra gets more and more annoyed. I'm thinking she might spend a lot of time being exasperated with Viv, Varric and DHMG.

 

Somehow I can't see Cassandra, Solas or Iron Bull fitting into a ball setting quite as elegantly as DHMG or Vivienne.

If my inquisitor has to go to a ball and wear some silly orlesian dress , I am going to be a sad panda.

Those dresses look like torture ...if my pc is wearing one of those , I want the whole party to wear that too ( and yes the men in dresses too!)

What about the rest of the team? I'm thinking Sera might go to team fabulous while Cole and GW to team I hate orlesian balls. Unless Sera's a tomboy.

Omg, Dorian is so handsome o.O  And his concept, as a whole, is pretty cool - a sassy exiled Tevinter magister going against the Imperium's corruption. If Gaider has worked on Dorian, I am sure this will easily be one of the most interesting companions to talk to. Let's hope he will be a romance option >.<  #SoHandsomeIcannotHandleIt

Biower is homophobic and their gay characters are walking stereotypes, which wouldn't be the case if X instetad of Y were romanceable.

What I don't stand is how people think that just because a character fits into certain stereotypes they're automatically badly written. So what if DHMG's into fashion and at all flamboyant? He can still be a badass, deep character and being into fashion or sassy won't change that. I'm a gay guy too and I can't wait to romance this dude. I mean, if he's as awesome as we assume he is. ^^

I got so accustomed to calling him DHMG that it's gonna be weird when his name is officially revealed. XD

 

I do hope we're not misled about what we believe about him though.
