On another subject, what did everyone do with Erimond (or as my roommate calls him "crappy discount Dorian")? I took the Tranquillity route, none of the other punishments really gave the desired effect.
On my very first DAI play I was a mage. I felt that the tranquility was fitting because of who he is and what he says. On my next two as my (now canon) warrior I just executed him. Of course I didn't have the option for tranquility in that case, but he also doesn't buy that "I'll have a glorious afterlife" crap that Erimond spouts.
On this current play as another mage I haven't decided yet. The judgement option is waiting there for me but I'm procrastinating. On the one hand, this character was just extremely pissed over this whole incident. So pissed that she even exiled the Grey Wardens over it, which is the first time I've done it [I might not have done if the "join the Inquisition" option weren't so "Rah-rah Wardens!"] I'm not going to send him to the Wardens because that ultimately gives him too much freedom, assuming he survives the joining.
In order for me to pick tranquility again I will have to really consider how this character feels about it, and its use as a punishment, which is usually a big no-no. Also, the tranquil person isn't really going to feel it as a punishment, even if they logically understand it, so in that sense its wasted.
My other consideration, which I realize is extremely lame, is that, while I might go for execution on this character, the prospect of seeing my skinny little mage girl go up there and try to behead someone with a sword that is bigger than her is ridiculous. At the very least, if this were real I would have had to have someone do it for me, or else risk botching the whole thing.
Sorry Ned Stark, but not everyone can actually perform the task -- to which he might respond that perhaps such a person is not worthy of passing that judgement.
