Ya know, seeing that random elf near the male elf Quizzy makes me sad. Look at how tall he is, and that body is way bulkier. Is he an Ancient Elf sent by Solas to spy or something?!
Obviously he found the hidden weight room that our elves should be visiting.

Or maybe he is just a prev that wants in on the action.

My rogue would totally be ok with that (as long as he remained the favorite).

Hey!
So I made a Quizzy for Dorian and I am really enjoying the romance so far. He's one charming lad.
And today Inky gave him his amulet and they started kissing and then this shameless elf dude casually walks up to them and starts browsing the bookshelf. That was just WTF I couldn't stop laughing. Have you had run-ins with creeper elf too? You probably have, he doesn't seem to care about privacy.
There he is. So rude!
Not that elf, but I had the "walk away to end conversation" mechanic glitch out. The dialogue wheel wouldn't disappear so Dorian was essentially yelling facts about the Imperium from up in the library.

My favorite is the vid of a dwarf telling him "Sometimes silence is good" or so and it glitches out into this huge two minute stretch of silence totally focused on the dwarf. So cracked up and got worse the longer I watched it.
This reminds me of a really good song.

I just had a fun fangirl freakout and thought I'd share.
A bit of background: I don't have HBO, so I watch Game of Thrones when it comes out on DVD and am always a season behind. Next week the last (fourth) season is being released so I rewatched the third season. Who did I happen to see? Ramon Tikaram (Dorian's VA). I just about died. If you have it available, he is in the episode Second Sons (s.3, ep.8) as 1/3 guys from a mercenary company that comes to talk to Daenerys (dragon girl).
In real life he sounds pretty much like Dorian, so it was weird to hear him doing a different accent for this character and also sounding a bit deeper (just a bit) than normal. Usually, when I recognize a VA in live action media I will hear the voice, know it as whichever character, and then double check on IMDb to make sure. But I recognized Ramon Tikaram right away by looks alone. He is pretty distinctive looking I think, and I'll admit to staring at this photo for a while.
I also discovered that he is in the new movie Jupiter Ascending.
I really do love gushing over voice actors. ![]()

I had a fun moment with Dorian last night. In my latest pt I decided I would banish the Wardens because in every other pt I've let them stay, so I figured I should do one where I don't. Anywho, when you banish them the Inquisitor does this big speech about how awful the things they did were and what not and my reaction was "wow this is super dramatic". Of course right after the Inquisitor gets done talking Dorain says "Well that was a bit dramatic". It was super perfect
Thinking about going back and changing that choice though, it really doesn't sit well with me.
And not a Dorian moment but definitely an 'ahmg' moment; I saved Alistair this time and as Hawke was going to deal with the Nightmare she said "I'm sorry Fenris"... and I immediately wanted to take that choice back. It was already hard enough because it was humorous Hawke (which is my favorite) but I wasn't expecting her to say that ![]()

Ohhh i also discovered this, but it was because i saw that video of Ramon Tikaram in tumblr, which i loved btw, he looks cute there, and also someone saying that he was in Jupiter Ascending. And since i'm fan of Sean Bean (he is in that movie), i was like omg, Dorian's voice actor is in this movie too? now i have double reason to go watch this movie in cinema xD. And then i checked the imdb of Ramon Tikaram to see in what other movies he worked and i saw he was in Game of Thrones too, and it was even more wtf lol, i need to rewatch that episode too. So we are two fangirling now haha
He also has some other video where he talks about banks lol. It's like hearing Dorian talk about banks xD

I don't know for sure, i'm on pc and i don't remember seeing him walking around in my PTs, could be some elf that appears randomly lol.

OH MAN ME TOO
There was zero chance of me leaving my precious Alistair behind. I had made peace with the decision, because while I like Hawke she's got nothing on Alistair. It was sad, but I was okay... then the "Sorry Fenris" bit popped out and I LOST IT. Then Varric afterwards... oh man... there may have been ugly crying involved.

I also lost my favorite Hawke when it came to sacrificing her or Alistair. I felt pretty bad already but then talking to Varric afterwards he said "I should've stopped her. She'd already paid enough." That line killed me.

Yea in my most recent one before this I actually sacrificed Alistair because that Hawke was with Anders and I felt like that would just be really bad, plus in that world state the HoF had died so that felt nice on some level. Which is why this time I figured I'd sacrifice Hawke, but damn. I forgot how much I loved that Hawke too
Every time she talked I was like "that's the best line ever!" Also, I am particularly annoyed Alistair said for me to tell Morrigan something but it seems like there is no option to pass on the message ![]()

I have a question regarding Dorian romance. Specifically- romance banter.I heard all romance banters from almost everyone except for Cole. I’m on my third playthrough, romancing Dorian for the third time (I’m always romancing only one character in DA games) and still no romance banter from Cole. Is it supposed to trigger after some quest or some certain actions? Do you guys remember when you had your romance banter from Cole?
I've romanced Dorian four times now, and I've never gotten the banter with Cole. I've never even gotten the mind reading one with Cole either.

So I'm not alone. I've used cheat engine to trigger all banters (on all 3 Inquisitors) and nothing (I've got every banter except for mind-reading romance one.) Reinstalled the game and again- nothing. I wish I could hear this conversation in-game, because it's really good.

And since i'm fan of Sean Bean (he is in that movie)...
Are you mentally prepared for him to die in it? Not that I know he does, but he dies in everything. In fact, the only thing I've seen him in where he doesn't die is the first National Treasure movie (I highly recommend these). Hiroyuki Sanada, a Japanese actor I really like, is the same way. Seriously guys, stop dying in everything. >.<

Can't help you there. I've gotten every banter with Cole except for the romance specific one. I have listened to them on YouTube, but I've found it's not really the same as hearing them in the game.

Haha lol, yea i know he has that reputation, but i'm kind of immune to it xD. I watched almost every movie and show of his filmography, and he actually lives in many. He has a specially strong shield in Sharpe series, a good example that he can survive.
Anyways, going back to Dorian, something silly i found here

Dorian taking a selfie in Val Royeaux just to show how dreadfully dull he finds it.

Gideon Emery (Fenris' VA) has a pretty significant part in season 3 of Teen Wolf. Threw me for a loop every time he spoke because I just can't reconcile VAs actually acting as themselves once I've gotten really attached to a character they voice.

THAT IS AWFUL.
I left Alistair because I couldn't stand to upset Varric and leave Fenris all alone. I kept telling myself that Alistair was a warden and was ready to die like that, and had only 20 years to live give or take, plus he wasn't my canon LI for DAO, but I still love him as a character and I had to rage quit and sob like a small child for a solid day after I made that decision for the first time.
I still have my fingers crossed tight for a "saving Alistair/Hawke" dlc. Still outraged we couldn't do crazy nonsense when following Kieran into the eluvian and go look for him, because I refuse to accept that either Hawke or Alistair could go down so easily. Hawke, slayer of Hybris and the Undying Xenbeck and the demons of the awiergan scrolls, and Alistair, the bloody templar trained warden that took down Gaxkang, a powerful sloth demon and helped slay an archdemon.
