Someone made some sexy gifs with your Dorian in Black mod, and he is also without stache xD. He looks as good as mustache Dorian to me  . And i love the contrast of black with the silver parts of his armor.

Of course if you go the Inquisitor-initiated kiss route you miss out on the whole telling Dorian to respond in some way other than a question if he's capable thing... so it kind of evens out

So true. I always do Inquisitor-initiated kiss as my canon, but I've watched both scenes so many times, they're both simply great and each have their highlights.

I agree that the black and silver are a nice contrast, and I feel like I can see more details. . .

 

Are there -two- book holsters hanging off of Dorian's hip? That's hard core! And I enjoy watching the light glint off of the one in the back, heh.

And, while I realize that the Inquisitor is the only one who changes into soft jammies at home, I can't believe Dorian strolls around Skyhold with spikes on the back of his boots (I'd trip and fall on my face, at least once a day) and then that huge elbow guard.  How is that comfortable?

 

I fully endorse the "evil twin" idea, especially since usually the mustachioed one is the bad guy lol.

They're "officially" grey, but they were hazel/brown before. But I find (in my game) in most lights they look more gold/hazel anyway.

They're a weird pale greyish something now. They're not at all flattering with his hair and skin tones. (And also not very accurate for someone who's supposed to be South Asian.)

Well heck. Now I need to go home and stare at my screen shots a bit (oh darn ). I really could have sworn they were more Green... Like I always liked how in Skyhold the inner collar of his outfit was lined in green and I thought it brought out his eye color nicely. Grr. Also, yea his eye color in that pic is also awesome.

Yep.  There have always been two books hanging from that particular belt.  They aren't so in-your-face when in displayed in muted browns.  I've never favored his home base outfit so much.  Makes him look large hipped.  But as I know it is only the armor it is just an amusing quirk to me.  That for all his fashion sense for colour and texture, some day he will turn to me and ask, "Tell the truth.  Does this make my backside look big?"

On my PC they are unquestionably amber green, though in instances of indirect light they sometimes look hazel brown.  It may have everything to do with platform+settings+engine why people are getting varied results.  I've also noticed that console Inquisitors can actually have black hair while on PC I have a choice of blue, sky blue, or red brown and almost different red brown.   But back to the topic, my impression is always gold-green tones that go nicely with his skin.

Strange as much as I loved his golden eyes before release, now he looks kind of odd with them.  I've got blue/grey eyes in real life though-so bias probably kicks in.

I think that Dorian is pretty gifted in the rear-end and quad department anyway. I mean he's not pear-shaped (those shoulders help, sigh), but there's plenty of "there" there. He out bootys the male Trevelyan IQ imo.
