Dorian has pale-blue greyish eyes, and while i think the yellowish eyes are nice too, i guess i prefer the blue ones, they are beautiful. I also have same eye colour as him in real life, so maybe that's also why i prefer them xD.

Eye color is an issue in Inquisition..
I mean I was sure I was giving my IQ a greyish- blue tint, but in-game it turned out to be light brown...
Overall, I like it, but the difference from what you intended can be annoying.

I wanted brown eyes. I got red. Still better than my first inquisitor and his weird pink lips.
I think that Dorian is pretty gifted in the rear-end and quad department anyway. I mean he's not pear-shaped (those shoulders help, sigh), but there's plenty of "there" there. He out bootys the male Trevelyan IQ imo.
Pretty much anything out-bootys the rangy, long waist, male Trevelyan. He's the perfect physique for a classic rogue, though. That Dorian looks to out-muscle and out-mass him is a nice twist against the usual stereotype of the non-athletic spell caster. I mean really, what has Dorian been doing? He lets on like it's just mage studies and after dinner brandy sniffers while sitting in plush lounge chairs discussing politics and the latest issue of the "Randy Dowager". I'm not buying it.

Interesting. Dorian on my PC definitely are not that color. Are you on console? I know the devs posted at one point that eye color was tricky in Frostbite but I have been seeing modders having more luck getting pure tones in engine. The only official dev post I've seen regarding Dorian's intended eye color was that they were supposed to be hazel. Since they are hazel in my game I've never had reason to question. I'll have to get a screen shot of how he looks on my screen for you.

In this photo I'm not seeing gray but jade green with bits of amber. Pretty much points to it being my monitor settings, though it looks the same on the Cintiq as well. No argument against them being officially grayish. Anatomically speaking, green and certain hazel eyes are really blue eyes with various levels of pigment in the lens causing them to reflect greens or mixes of colour. Dorian could still be regarded as having this type of hazel for anyone who thinks this fits better with their head canon.
I'm also enjoying all the close up Dorian love hehe.

See--when you say what you see, I can kind of see it too. Sort of like how my husband and I fight over what is khaki and what is olive drab and what is brownish vs greenish and slate vs taupe lol.
Some of these close-ups, I can see pores and veins under skin and it's uncanny valley time heh.
Here I'll contribute to the close-up fun. I know, I know, it's from my no-mustache playthrough. But if I have one positive to remark on, it's that I spend more time looking at his eyes without the distraction closer to his mouth 
I love this moment. That moment where he looks at you like you have just given him the most honest and unconditional acceptance he's always craved. His life verified and justified in that moment.

Haha, it's probably something like that. Dunno, i still see the eyes grey there and not jade green. But i guess it's also because this type of eye colour can be ambiguous, i know because my own eyes are also blue-greyish and they can look different depending on light.... with certain lights they are darker and with more light they look more blue and lighter. And in game i suppose it also depends on the light, but to me they still look greyish xD.

Well great minds and all that... LOL It is a particularly touching scene that burns into the memory.
Probably not the monitor if you think you see green too. The only thing I can think is that I'm running fully on ultra settings on a self-built PC and I have done tweaks directly to my graphics card in the past. It probably adds up.
Ok I have to ask before I forget again. What is the name of this armor? I see occasional pictures of it, I've seen the concept drawings of it, but in all of my playthroughs I have never found it. I feel I've been in every nook and cranny by this point but somehow I keep missing it.

I'm not 100% sure but i think it's using the mod to remove class restrictions from armors, basically because when you try certain medium or heavy armors on Dorian in the crafting section, they look like that one. I'm not sure if there is some light armor with that appearance.
Hmm... I've just realized I have no screenshots of Dorian looking right at the camera... he's always looking off to the side 
This is the best one I have atm, and until my PS4 is fixed I won't be able to get more. Anywho, I think his eyes are looking green here, but like I said he's looking to the side and it's hard to tell.

Sturdy Apprentice Armor or Coat (these both look the same). When you craft it you only change the color of the leather and the wrap, but adding a masterwork cloth changes the tunic as well. This is the red armor that Danaduchy features in her red Dorian screenshots that he looks so great in. I crafted one for him in my own game but ended up not using it. I found that I prefer the longer Enchanter Coat. The Apprentice version also removes his two books in favor of three scrolls, which I found unfortunate. Dorian needs his books!

Oh i didn't realize i had schematics for those armors on my other character... never tried to craft them, i had no idea mastework changed colour of that part of armor, thanks for the info.

One thing I've read/noticed about Frostbyte is that the lighting engine is TERRIBLY inconsistent at times, especially when it comes to eyes. I noticed it when I was fooling around with a different companion's eyes. It'd be interesting to see screenshots of the same modified eye color in different lighting situations and compare them. The eye texture is a bit of an odd one, after all. Looking forward to seeing your results!
