Wow, thanks for the link courteoustoverbs. That person takes wonderful Dorian screenshots, and their Dorian Pavus tag is filled with all sorts of goodies.
Spoiler
Yea, I might have a dropbox folder that is frighteningly full of Dorian screenies. yikes.
ETA: Apologies nightscrawl! Sorry I got the wrong source. I thought I got to the root posting. I should have recognized that was a danaduchy screenie ![]()

I'm sure it's been mentioned before, but I ABSOLUTELY ADORE DORIAN'S SIDE PROFILE
You and he have that in common. ![]()
And this is why on my Templar runthroughs, I always go to meet with the Mages first and meet Dorian in the Chantry... because in this version, you now know who Dorian is, why he's opposed to the guys attacking you and have a reason to let him through the gates?
Plus the story kinda still makes sense, as the pre-briefing scene for "In Hushed Whispers" has it made clear that we can't directly send any forces in because Alexius has outplayed us, with our half-baked plan to walk into the trap on purpose being entirely reliant on our agents managing to get into Redcliffe castle undetected? If they failed, we would be completely screwed?
Cullen's final comment that we could still go find the Templars, which requires us simply walking to Therinfal with some nobles to try and get a meeting, which is a far easier plan on the face of it? And as far as we knew at the time, we could have always tried to broker peace with mages after we'd dealt with the Breach, attempting to use our alliance with, or control over, the Templars to end the war?
(And does the C&H link need a source tag, or is the one on the comic sufficient?)

My reasoning on Templar playthrougs is that we need a winning card to avoid catastrophic risk (losing the Inquisitor and the Anchor) by going into Alexius's trap. And what better counter for the Venatori sorcerers than Ser Barris and Dorian working together? ![]()
I get my PS4 back today \o/

I'm sorta confused about the keep though :/ It looks like all my Inquisitors are there, but only my choices from my Dorian romance are unlocked (which is the PT before my current one where I had to send my PS4 off to be fixed). None of the choices from my first two PTs and only the specialization of my current one are unlocked :/ Do you guys think loading up all my Inquisitors when I get my PS4 back will fix my keep? It's sort of annoying.

Keep is very buggy. I only have Cullen and Dorian unlocked and I've romanced everyone by now.

Yea... they are doing maintenance on it atm, so hopefully that will help ![]()

I just noticed they are, since I was going to indulge my recent onset of restartitis, but I sure won't do it with a default world state, so I guess it's time to initiate the Dorian bedroom scene with my Adaar.
Alas, it's another mage-supporter playthrough, which means as we get to Skyhold Dorian puts out immediately, Solas wants me to meet all his spirit friends, and Vivienne is planning nefarious things with my furniture... (it's just the basic stuff at this point Viv, I won't even miss it...
).
I'm actually feeling some pangs of desire to replay DA2, where the romance was intense and the pacing made sense...
Are we talking about Dorian's profile (and his nose, look at his nose!)?
Yes, we are talking about his nose. Not many people can have that nose and get away with it. But Dorian owns it.

I usually tell Dorian no since the look on his face is priceless when he realizes why. But I wish they had engineered a way to ask him up for a shag on another day. I guess I should be happy we can at least go for a snog whenever the mood strikes.
Oh I love danaduchy's screenshots of Dorian, look at this lovely gif she made:

In the Uffizi, there's this hallway that is just lined with busts of Roman emperors (and their amazing Roman noses). One looked so much like my paternal grandfather, I startled a bit. I mean, the collection is a true definition of the word "aquiline," and it just made me grin. I have a thing, I guess I mentioned that earlier in this thread. At any rate, Dorian doesn't have a hook (yet, and required I think to be called aquiline), but when he gets old, his profile will look right at home in a certain gallery in Firenze. ![]()
I don't know why I'm sappy today, but there's more to come . . .

Actually the hook is not necessary to be considered Aquiline. At least in the artist's definition. Any prominent bridge that is slightly bent or curved qualifies. Dorian definitely falls in the bent category. I'm glad as I find far more character in a chiseled bend than a gradual sloped hook.
I found these beauties here (I think I got it right this time)
Here's a taste:
I just love those eyes-closed pics. Listening to the song of the Fade, weaving the spells he was born to make . . .
Uh-oh Dorian. Your geometry is showing.
Reminds me of the time Blackwall actually gave him a compliment.
Regarding the other day's conversation about Dorian's mother dragging him by his ear ( i couldn't remember where i found this pic before), and Dorian saying "picture me a young boy of five years", here is this young Dorian fanart:
