The whole Geth Fleet in Platinum?!

This happened yesterday in a Platinum match against the Geth. The mass spawn thing happened around the 2nd wave where there were about 200 Geth Pyros! I could not stop laughing. Unfortunately we all ran out of missiles by the end of wave 4.

If it wasnt for the upload I would have been running around like a headless chicken, but yeah I was panicking in the corner being zapped by about 50 Geth Bombers  :P

I feel I would be waking up screaming from the nightmare .. I understand modding the game for extra enemies .. but Bombers???? Like the most annoying enemy unit ever

I still get goosebumps every time I remember Cyonan's "5000% more speed geth hunters" even if I never experienced it myself.

50 bombers? I think I'll sit this one out. Yuck.

The Geth Primes also had the rate of fire of a Spitfire, while retaining their damage per shot.

I guess in this case saying "break the line of sight" got a whole new meaning - it's best not to see a prime ever.

Also increased the rounds per burst, so they'd continually fire with no breaks.

 

It was surprisingly easy to kill them however, provided you had one player able to "tank" them by just sitting in cover. They'd never try to flank you.

 

My favourite however has to be the Marauders that regenerate 400% of their shields every second and have no delay before regenerating.

Wow, that seems like a damn nightmare! However, I once altered a Cerberus-wave that spawned 100 Dragoons at the same time. STAGGER-fest! :devil:

Cyonan, didn't you create Praetorians that had so much armor/barriers that they could withstand 3 Cobra Missiles?

They had a combined 40 million hit points between barriers and armour. They also didn't sync kill, but instead would just melee staggerlock you to death.

 

Cobra missiles also didn't actually do anything to them. I may have disabled them dealing damage on purpose =P

 

It was my extraction wave. The design was not actually to win, but rather to survive for a full 2 minutes against all odds.

 

I did manage to beat it once, as a lone survivor.

Haha, nice! Useless Cobra's, then...

 

Could you imagine how PUGs would react if they dropped into a game like that?

 

Question: Is it possible to make the Dragoons leap from a much greater distance? I am working on a horror objective that involves a lot of Dragoons, so I want to make it very challenging :devil:

So long as there were only 8 enemies on the map, that doesn't sound overly hard...

Also, would the regenerating marauder still get OHK'd by a javelin?

Maybe I am a bit masochistic but that looks fun to play once in awhile. I love to see such a scenario with rocket troopers: volleys of missiles everywhere!

C2Dre, thanks for your interest in my Mods. I am really just starting to learn a lot about modding, so I am relatively new to it. What I am working on for a couple of weeks are Husk/Prime/Brute Modes, and I want to create my own Diamond difficulty. I need more knowledge about the wavebudget and enemy health, before I can complete it.
