What? Mage hater? Moi? Never. I'm just not...pro-mage. I'm pro-Qunari - okay maybe I am a little bit anti-mage. Lol. But I loves Merrill. So much so the love gets an s on the end. Which is why I didn't want her doing what the demon wanted her to do, and now I don't want her to restore the eluvian because some crazy elves are going to ruin the party for the sane ones.

It is more his wit that reminds me of Flemeth.

Though he does make a comment about the city elves either fall on their faces or try to kill him if they knew who he was....

He also freezes a bunch of guards and shatters them by dropping boxes on them and then reducedan entire warehouse to little more than char and ash.

But yes his wit and mannerisms remind me of Flemeth.

I will personally be disappointed if Bella throws away her loyalty to Celene and lifelong friendship and more on whim. Especially if Celene has been as progressive for the elves as she is portrayed.

No it was not.

There was no evidence that the mirror would actually help the demon. That "information" came from Marethari who never actually studied the mirror and knew nothing.

It's possible, but for the moment I can only assume MEM doesn't have them because he hasn't had them in any of the concept art or the in-game model we've seen so far.

I'm just not ready to jump to conclusions when current evidence is contrary...  And he seems like a cool character but this Fellassan could end up dying or going MWAHAHAHAHA at the end of the book, so I'm staying wary.

I have a speculation theory on how the dalish plot might be developed in DAI, based on the spoilers from the book. I haven't read the full preview, so I might be wrong in something.

We know that the dalish aren't willing to side in the OCW, and Briala defected Celene to join her people in finding the Eluvians. Now, while the dalish's (or better, that clan) stance wasn't particulary nice, it doesn't seem that they want to a rivela join the war as a their faction (in my opinion it'd be incredibly stupid, since it might make Gaspard and Celene join forces and crush them). What if their goal in finding the Eluvians is related to Arlathan? There was a concept related to it. We know that the location is present in-game. What if the dalish plot will distance itself from the OCW and become indipendant? Do you think it's possible?

That's an interesting possibility.

What if the Inquisitor needs to travel to the Fade in person to face the Big Bad there? Last time someone tried it, the Magisters caused the First Blight. What if the Magisters wanted to imitate the elves, but they didn't know how to use the eluvians safely? The trip to Arlathan wouldn't be a way to find the elves a new homeland (pretty useless for a possible anti-elf Inquisitor), but a way to recover very important lore to use the Eluvians a a gate to the Fade.

 

Of course, all of this is just a wild assumption based on flimsy evidence at best. But it makes me more and more interested about the book and the game.

Now that the Dalish have finally done what I wanted them to do, and broken out of the whole "wander around and don't actually advance our knowledge" phase, there's little-to-nothing I would side against them for. So the only outcome I could find satisfying at this point in time is Celene agreeing to help them.

Considering that clan's refusal to side with Celene, it's the dalish that has to change their stance. Though we don't know what happens after their refusal, and if Celene is willing to strike a deal now.
