Why it always have to be a pariah, why? Why can't we once be a messenger of the Dalish to the world without being a retard?
Because Bioware wants to crap all over their own minorities, for some reason.
I hope we can kill this clan tbh, or at least this keeper. They sound like the type of dalish who would treat to pull an uldred at the next clan meeting.
I hope the Dalish clan pattern is subverted by allowing us to kill an Orlesian city.
Why not? This is like not wanting to be human because of Gaspard.
Well, my first two runs had already been planned as a Human and Qunari mage, respectively. After that, I had planned on rolling a Dalish mage. I want to see a bit of how the Dalish story plays out before I go for it. It sounds like you are gonna be fighting a major uphill battle.

And hopefully I can fight it alongside the other Dalish.

Wow...just wow. And people were like "Why would you need to roleplay a jerk as a dalish" when I brought it up for being pro-city elf.
It seems that being isolationist jerks is the Dalish "hat". Although I love their culture and lore, I don't understand why some people are surprised about this. The Dalish Origin starts with Mahariel and Tamlen pointing arrows to a bunch of treasure hunters because they were near their camp.

How exactly is that subverting anything?
._.

And potentially invading it? What result would you expect if you wandered into a secure military base?

Eleven pariah good guys. It's seemingly more and more common with each gwme. Still, bravo to bioware for not making the dalish all these goodie good guys. It's just realistic that you're going to have less then noble savages along with the good ones, no ones exactly the same.
So, with luck, we won't be pariahs at all and can still support this effort, just not in the particular manner the Keeper is expressing.
And hopefully I can fight it alongside the other Dalish.
Wait, so you want to join the Dalish plan to kill all the Orlesians?

But the military bases are still, Dalish live in nomadic clans. Even if I didn't want to disturb them I could end up near one of them by accident!
Oh, and for the "kill another Dalish clan" trend...

Not all of them, but I want Orlais to fall. Preferably with a chance for me to personally stomp on some of their awful decor.

Spoiler.
That's why it's best on the Dalish end to not outright kill those who get near it, but definitely brush them away.
The pattern of previous games.
And how exactly how they been undermined?
They were present, they could be killed but that applies for a lot of people outside of them, so apart from the poor elf trope there isn't much there.
So...i don't see the subversion here, nor do i see the point of allowing you to butcher a random city for no apparent reason.

And I don't see the point of allowing you to butcher an entire clan for no reason. I figure it's time for a change for the bloodthirsty.

Just admit, that you want unlimited access to aquae lucidius.

Err...Both times they attack both first if you go that route.
Just pointing out, its self defense.
Besides they were dumb enough to attack the PC.

Then we can have the city strike at us first, if it satisfies you.
