I mostly pug. Play with friends if I get an invite which often goes unnoticed by me - sorry for that people.
lol - I thought it was just me that spent the last couple of minutes before logging off for the night sending "sorry" messages to friends whose invites I'd missed whilst PuG-ing 
I mostly play with friends and pug occasionally (Platinum). I've never met anyone I know while quick matching though
Haha I've just seen that I have now entered the hallowed 'Top 100' turf of which you speak, which just confirms that Challenge Points mean very little other than highlighting a gaming obsession!
I pug a fair bit and have bumped into quite a few of the top 100 players (including the newly promoted tiwyg).
Congrats on getting in the top 100, you don't think it's much but you are overly modest and it's kind of funny you bumped into cato after reaching it; means you made it 
and then you go and do the Sheogorath quest in Skyrim and meet your Oblivion character, who became the prince of madness and possibly got a sex/race change.
Well actually I played Oblivion as a Breton and based on the CK, Sheogorath's NPC is also a Breton.
Mostly pug.
What with not being able to join friends games, and invites going unnoticed, I think adding someone to my friends list means I've never likely to play with them again. 
Pugging is fine, unless they totally suck.

Cheers Fire, and you're probably right, my CP score does to some extent reflect my understanding of how the game works in all its variations, which in turn makes me a solid if not spectacular player. None of which stops me panicking at the sight of Praetorians and Banshees!
I haven't played with cato in a while, I think he was just acknowledging my post. I felt like I'd 'made it' when I managed more than half his score
