My next character after I finish the one I'm doing will be a Sword and Board Warrior.  Unfortunately I'll need 42 Strength for armor and enough Dexterity for talents which I'm not sure leaves enough points in Constitution to be worth it.

I was interested in seeing if you could play a Constitution S&S Warrior though the game but not sure if it is viable.  :(  To get the large amounts  of hit points I was looking for.

Well, warriors have very good growth to accumulate hit points as they level. I was looking at my tank. 310 hit points at level 18, 340 at level 21 just using Andruil's Blessing and Lifegiver. I'd guess I'd be close to 400 without any gear changes by level 25.

Now if you want more than that, you can add in gear items like Blood Dragon Plate and the Blood Gorged Amulet. if you equipped both of those, you'd be close to 500. I don't see using level ups on Con when increasing STR and Dex does so much more, but that's me.

Awakening-you're looking at a different ballgame. Vitality maxed out will add +100 HP and paragon stout runes will add +14 con. 3 of them on armor will be +42 con, which will be good for +200 HP. This doesn't include con increases on the armor itself. It's normal for warriors in Awakening to have in the range of 700-800 HP at least. It's up to you, but I think warriors have bigger fish to fry.

Getting Vitality sounds like a cool idea in Awakening.  I'm not good at getting equipment.  I just go with what I come across and maybe the golem shell plate.

Skills in Awakening are a whole other topic. You get all these new skills-Clarity, Vitality, Runecrafting-yet you get no new tomes in Awakening and no more skill points than you did in Origins. I count at least 4 skills you need to go to 4 in-Combat Training and the 3 new skills, and there are a few others I'd like to put points in like Survival. You might have things covered if you hold onto all the skill books you got in Origins.

EDit-What I meant by no more in origins is the same 1/2 or 1/3 rate you had before. With all the new skills, all characters should have gotten 1 every  level or 2 levels.

As I start out I'm a little concerned about my to hit rate with a Constitution tank.  We'll see if I can hit anything at the end of the game.  I figure that I will keep adding a point into Strength and 2 points to Constitution after 42 Strength.

I changed my mind.  I will use precise striking and go all Constitution after 42 Strength.

I changed my mind again.  I'll go 1 point Strength 2 points constitution after 42 Strength, ha ha.

I did the Fade on easy difficulty.  Don't Judge me!  Just the whole transformation areas.  Now I just have to free the guys on the Island and face the sloth demon.

I took cleanse area on level up 'cause it's the easy way through the end fight in the bercilian forest.

Having two Mages is a little boring.  Oh well.  I want to try two mages all the way through awakening.

I'm procrastinating going to Orzammar with this group.
