So it's been over 2 years now. Anyone playing anything else more than ME 3?

+1, that one has a decent story.

Been between Zombies on BO II, Extinction on Ghosts, and a bit of RE 4. Mainly speed running Separate Ways and Assignment Ada.

Batman Arkham City, Civilization Revolution, and ME3 for now. Might have Borderlands 2 to play again and possibly Arkham Origins as well.
Aside from that, why does it matter if someone were to only play ME3? There haven't been many co-op games released nearly as good and some people don't care for single player or PvP (well, at least me). I was shocked to make it through Batman, cause I prefer to play with friends when I game.

Spec Op The Line was a great pick-up. Very good third-person shooter with a compact, but compelling story. Only takes 6 or so hours to mow through too.
OT - Spent the last few weeks catching up on FF13-2 so I could jump into Lightning Returns. Digging it so far. I'm still a sucker for FF games. After that...I think I have a game that Token recommended in the queue. ME3MP is mixed in between all of this. Still having a blast with it.

In my off months, I've been heavily into guild wars 2 since its release. I alternate every few months between both games - at the moment I'm back into ME3, although it will swing back again.
Despite all the game's flaws, I love playing mesmer both in pvp and wvw - nothing quite like it in other games - just a beautiful, elegant class to play. Also love asura (my main is a female asura mesmer - currently hybrid shatter build) - the artwork and dialogue in the game is fantastic. Just walking around The Grove for example is stunning.
Not too fond of pve combat after having explored everywhere - boring and waste of time, worse than ME3 bullet sponges. Pvp is much more fun.
Mesmer has something in common with the N7 Shadow, which is why they're my favourite classes/characters (some might say thief but it can be both) - stealth/cloak, ileap+blurred frenzy/shadow strike... similar vibe from playing both, although of course much less variety in me3 power use - hopefully will be expanded in ME4.
Haha, nice - good to know people still play that. SP or MP? Any MP mods? I used to be heavily addicted to moviebattles 2 among other things.Star Wars Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy

My brother is sweating in anticipation of new Assassin's creed because it will require a new machine.
I got stuck with ME and can't let go. I'm guessing by the time ME4 comes out I'll be looking to buy a new PC myself.

Banished and Shadowrun ... apart from ME3 I can't remember the last AAA title I actually played, it was probably Deus-Ex: HR - maybe SimCity 2013 (disappointing).

You know what I'm afraid of?
ME4...
I don't want a game to suck me in for 2 years again...

I went away for a while to clean up the streets of Arkham, but I've put the cowl away now and am back fighting to save the galaxy.

And I will be playing the DFM for star citizen once it's released next month.
But otherwise, it's surprising how a multiplayer afterthought for a game can have this much staying power. Bring on me4mp.

I haven't taken more than a week away from ME3 at any given time, but I try to play the single player PS+ games. Of those, as has been noted, Spec Ops: The Line is well worth playing. Tomb Raider is a ****** too, perfectly paced. Not on PS+ but I have to say The Last of Us is the most impressive game I've played in terms of it not feeling like a game.
As for the future, I'm quite happy playing ME3 until ME4 comes out. The only thing I can imagine that would divert me significantly would be any announcement about Half Life 3.
EDIT: Forum censor bots don't understand Irish vernacular. Tomb Raider is a c*r*a*c*k*e*r

The lasting appeal for me is that aside from gunplay which doesn't really interest me generally it's just so refreshing different from anything else out there I've ever experienced from enemy and world design to powers - e.g. poison strike and biotic charge, to dodging through walls and everything else in between albeit centered around a rather dull horde mode mechanics. There's the genesis of something really interesting happening for gaming in general. Today I look at the powers in second son and the movement in titanfall and say meh Mass Effect already does it better in a more interesting way.

I can proudly say that ME3 is the cause of my first ever backlog of games, I just love it too much, I can't stop ![]()
What makes it worse is that even on the rare occasions that I do manage to tear myself away from it and play something else I usually end replaying old games rather than try something new. As such I am currently very slowly making my way through my 6th playthrough of Fallout: New Vegas ![]()

Warframe. Though I've grown tired of it.
Right now I am in the middle of every shitstorm and will stay on the right course for a while (read: minimal gaming) but when the storm pass I think I'll be eagerly anticipating Skywind.
