I am not sure I understand the oily shiny hair.

 

I am using a AMD 7800 for my graphics card. Though I do have lag spikes. 

 

Jihl is pro mage , she is a rogue , human female. I am compairing this with Ryim on his play thru as a Qunari male, warrior, pro templar. I want to say more but I wont . I will say this ..... CULLEN UNF UNF UNF UNF !!!!! 

 

Oh and a lil bit of a spoiler . You meet someone in the game that will make you squeel . 

 

This has to be top notch . It was worth the wait. Now to .....Jelly Fish Away to DA:I.......

Hi guys!

 

Bri in the options menu up the mesh settings to high. That will solve the shiny. My video card just meets minimum so I was concerned about upping it but I've no issues since.

For some reason DAI has issues with AMD products, a friend of mine told me that Bioware is looking into and that AMD has already released drivers to help with the video cards.

 

I'm currently running my graphics at medium (even though the game wants to run at Ultra, when it does that it makes my CPU overheat), but I have Meshes and Textures at high.

 

And I somehow managed to keep my squee internal so I didn't wake mom, but Alistair showed up in my playthrough last night. And he looked like the Alistair we all know and love from Origins! Just a bit older looking of course.

I haven't seen Alistair yet but he looks good in that pic. Leliana looks the best she ever has so can't complain there.
I'm using the default world. Too many quaffs from DAO to DA2 that I just decided "hell with it" and rolled my mage figuring my warden never existed in this timeline. That also frees me from concerns over the romances. DAO's was just too good compared to afterwards and I've also written two romances in my trilogy that are better to me and swtor had several that were fun. (Nadia, Risha was fun and funny, and surprisingly Vette's was a blast). So far only flirted with Cass and Jo. I figured who ever gets the alone time gets it and if more than one...cool beans. ;-)

Also, writing this on my cell so if there are typos...pfft. :-P

I'm in hot pursuit of Cullen.  I have to say, I like all the characters so far, which is the exact opposite of DA2.

 

Are we suppose to sell the valuables in the inventory, or will we need them for something later?

 

I haven't been killing any of the creatures for crafting, just can't do that

The valuables are the junk category from DA2, just renamed. Go ahead and sell them, you'll need the cash for schematics.

 

There has been mention from Cassandra about the Hero of Ferelden having gone missing, as well as codexes about it. I really hope we find out what happened, but given the events I've seen so far in DAI... I'm greatly afeared.

 

Also Rage, that's why they have the Keep, they don't import saves from DA2, you arrange everything in the Keep to be the way you want stuff.

 

I've also noticed that if you kill Venatori with Iron Bull in your party, you get small approval gains. I'm hoping this will make my romance of him easier.

actually if you read . Some of the stuff in valuables can be used at the beast tables. You take it there then sell stuff left over.

So had a chance to talk with Fiona in Skyhold, she almost admitted to being Alistair's mother.

Not really a spoiler, but thought it was fitting.

 

Once you hit Skyhold, you get to render judgement on folks like you did in Awakening, only not all in one lump sum. This is the first and I thought this was funny.

In Hushed whispers, right after you get Leliana and go to the room and close the rift, there is a wheel on the wall you need to turn to open the gate.  I'm pressing on it and nothing happens, is this a bug or did I miss something?

You have to hold it down the mouse button to keep it turning. It's not a one click thing. You'll run into similar later on in the game.

I sided  with the Mages, then conscripted them -I think Iron Bull really liked that.  ^ that's hot.

Like with Alibear, my Warden was always wearing the pants - which was ok, but I'm enjoying Cullen's protective, no nonsense attitude ... and his wry little smile.
