You guys are talking about stuff I haven't even seen yet, and I'm intrigued! Is there another skill tree that shows up later, after you've maxed the melee/smoke ones?
Yeah, Neon and Video. You gain another ability at the end of the game but I don't believe it is upgradable. Video has a sneak attack that can be abused especially if you have a certain good karma specific upgrade for it.

Sweet. I have nearly all of the upgrades in melee/smoke. I think I'm missing one or two, as I'm not quite level 4 good karma.
I was wondering what was up with the skill trees, especially since I was so close to having them maxed, with a large portion of the map uncleared.
Can't wait to get the new ones, and try them out! I love me some sneak attacks.

Fetch is the player character, and I think the DLC is standalone ala Blood Dragon but I'm not sure.

Got my PS4 and Second Son. I doubt it's gonna live up story-wise to the greatness of inFamous 2 but it's nevertheless fun. Looking forward to playing as Laura Bailey with that DLC. Wooo!

Yep, it is a standalone title, and it looks fantastic. I thought the first two inFAMOUS games were rubbish, but SP really picked it up and redeemed themselves with Second Son.

Think you quoted the wrong post but yeah I found that out. That might actually not be bad thing -- It indicates, in a similar fashioned DLC to that of Far Cry 3's disco-ball-twirling-Michael-Biehn-gravelly-voice-speaking-b-movie-line-uttering-80's-whacky-flick-feeling expansion pack or Episodes of Liberty City. In which case it means there might be a lot of content for your buck. Yay!

The idea of playing as Fetch is awesome. Very good fresh idea for a dlc. Got 100% and had a blast with Second Son. It was my first inFamous game and Neon was by far my favorite power.

Played it then?
Anyway, it's evidently not as strong, story-wise, in comparison to inFamous 2 but it's generally a very fun game, and the characters are as likeable as expected. Except for one character.

Did you play the other games? I'd say playing it makes all the difference. It's as fun as the other games and can't really ask for more.

Yeah, I downloaded and Platinum'd it last week. Between that and The Swapper, it's been a good month for PS+.First Light is free in the Playstation Store for the month of January.
I have to say, the whole aspect of playing a superpowered Laura Bailey zooming around a city collecting little power-upgrading balls of light was bizarrely reminiscent of Saints Row 4, in a good way.

I wonder if we'll get any news on the next Infamous soon this year. I don't expect a trailer or anything like that but I would really like to know what would be the next setting, will we be playing as Delsin again, stuff like that
