As others said, looks to be a fennec fox. We also saw them in this footage. Which kind of fits with Orlais having sort of an African landscape. (Why do you think Orlesians have so many lion motifs?)

We need martens in the game. They are ferocious, bloodthirsty beasts worthy of being fought.
No doubt my inquisitor will want one as a pet...Since we can't have dragon pets,it will do...

Guys, get real. You don't eat foxes. The meat is tough and they're riddled with disease.
