Guys, get real. You don't eat foxes. The meat is tough and they're riddled with disease.

Just keep it on the fire till its a brick. ;)

I don't know, but I'm sure they will be annoying, swarming, a f-ing everywhere. In other words: a cuter, fluffier, ghast.

I hope we can keep them as pets

I also hope we can hunt them and make some fabulous fluffy hats for our inquisitor.

Red fox cuisine? Wouldn't be surprised if it was an Orleasian delicacy.

Dinner.

Roasted fox...Fox stew...Fox and eggs....Fox a l'orange....Fried Fox....Baked Fox...Fox on a stick.....

Guys, get real. You don't eat foxes. The meat is tough and they're riddled with disease.

You skin them for hats and gloves.

Just keep it on the fire till its a brick. ;)

You monsters ! Now I shall never feel safe ever again  :crying:

Back to the OP's question, those little guys look like the temperate continental cousins of the adorable fennec fox

As others said, looks to be a fennec fox. We also saw them in this footage. Which kind of fits with Orlais having sort of an African landscape. (Why do you think Orlesians have so many lion motifs?)

Because they're based on Western European nobility, who tended to have a bunch of lion motifs despite lions not being native to that area.

Whatever it is, it's cute as balls.

I've never found balls especially cute.

I don't know what this adorable fennec-like creatures are, but they shall be mine. All of them. My Inquisition will not allow them to be killed for whatever reason ... even if it's a quest ... well, unless they are scripted to attack on sight. But don't you dare doing that to me, BioWare, the dog mobs in DA2 have been more than enough! :crying:

I've said this multiple times elsewhere, but it's still important to me.

We need martens in the game. They are ferocious, bloodthirsty beasts worthy of being fought.

Martens?
