Hmm, this seems like the better place to post this, rather than the DA:O forum, since I assume most people there already have the game...

So yeah, DA:O is on sale, as is DLC for it on Steam. DA:O Ultimate is going for the princely sum of 7 Euros. If by some miracle you're in this forum but don't own it, go fix that.

I bought DA2 on Steam, and I've been hoping to pick up the DLC, but I don't think they were published on Steam.

I still don't understand how Steam manages to get the licenses to sell games so cheap...

I'll get it if Steam can keep me connect for more than an hour at one time

If you were a publisher, would you rather sell 10,000 copies of your game at $59.95 or 1 million copies at $4.99?

Yeah, Steam is being terribad with the connection lately... Although technically you only need to be connected long enough to buy it and you can always download when Steam is less of a crap-pile.

It's an agreement with the publishers so you should probably thank EA. :P

I'm just hateful towards Steam cuz it's cutting me off in the middle of a conversation. Steam can make it up to me by putting Skyrim Legendary edition on sale for 75% off though.

For those that are having connection issues there is an alternative.

You can redeem the code you got on Steam in Origin and download it there, plus since Dragon Age: Origins is not an Origin game you do not need to have Origin running to play it.
