how do you use it?

I use it on my Lift Grenade-less Melee Krogan Sentinel

Tech Armor: 4b, 5b, 6b

Incinerate: 4b, 5a, 6b

Passives: 4a, 4b, 6b

Fitness: 4a, 5a, 6a

Platinum: Cheese ammo, Assault Rifle amp, Cyclonic IV, Geth Scanner.

Gold: Disruptor ammo, AR amp or Strength Enhancer, Cyclonic, Geth Scanner.

There isn't any speed penalty while shooting and he can get away with the weight penalty from the HVB. It isn't the best weapon you can use on him but it's a really unique and fun alternative.

Cheese ammo for Platinum, but it can be substituted with Disruptor on Gold.

Which other kits don't have the speed penalty? 

 

I use it on the saboteur and MQI occasionally.  With the heavy scope and burst fire.  Fun on the GI (naturally).  If you used it in ME2 it will never make you happy though.

On Quarksman, TSol, Ghost, and a few others. Still it feels like it needs just a minor damage buff.

When it comes to weapons the answer is usually 'Turian Soldier' and it's no different for the Revenant.  While I appreciate the OP's reasons for using it on the Krentinel, I cannot and will not ever equip anything other than the Claymore on him (by now the only kit I put it on), skipping incinerate.

Tsol and Hsen used it for a time. Destroyer used it for a while sometime back before I got the Typhoon. Only kit that uses it currently is GT.
Not a big fan of the way it was designed. It's just good enough at the niche It's trying to fill.

Hurricane is better, but revenant feels better. Kind of like the difference between wraith and claymore.

Put it on the turians. If you can manage the recoil you can use it on alot of classes. If not then stick a stability mod on it or something of the sort. Turian soldier has the marksman advantage so theres that
