Hi All,

 

I know there are ways to change the forum colour background if one changes their web browser, but I am still waiting for the boards to have a way of changing colours.

 

In the meantime, I was curious about the way the forum pages "refresh" between posts or page changes. I noticed that the page that flicks up in between the pages is a dark grey (at least that is what it looks like to me, but I am colour blind). Whatever the colour though, it is definitely darker than the white we currently have, and I was wondering if there is any way that this darker colour can be "used" by us (the forum users) by setting something somewhere?

 

Just a thought. ... (I have definitely had more eye strain even from my few brief visits.)

Not sure if Neverwinter Nights II related but If you mean the background image you can change it there.

No, I don't remember there were any before, or else I'd have been using one.  Glad to see there are some now.

Those just replace the pic in behind the forum (background picture) not the area that you read and type in.

Hi schwarzweiss,

Those "backgrounds" were not there the last time I looked, so that is good news, and I have switched to the darkest one now. Many thanks for drawing my attention to that.

However, as other posters have also mentioned, it would be good to change the "paper" that the text is on to the same dark colour and use a complementary text colour. That would do the trick I think.

As I say though, thanks for the heads up on the new background colours ... now hopefully we aren't too far off new paper colours too.

It's certainly dark-er, but not what I'd be calling truly "dark". It's certainly a step in the right direction though.

 

Or maybe it's actually black, but my eyes were ruined looking at the previous theme for too long.

I actually like the light background.  Light-on-dark is harder for me to focus on.  Glad we have options now, though.
