I like it. I would also like if they gave warriors the ability to smash locks, instead of always having to rely on the rogues to pick them.

Whats the point of even making a party then? "Lets forget team dynamic. Everyone has to be useful all the time."
Also my main concern is that its just not believable. In the slightest.
Are warrior classes superhuman now?
No, warriors were always superhuman. Do you not recall shouting at people to make them fall on their asses in DAO? And that was a non-magical specialization. You also had things like Reavers, who could feast on the souls of fallen enemies to heal themselves or Templars who can dispel magic and deal spirit damage.
For all we know, some Seekers, like Templars, get training that gives them access to powers and abilities beyond what a normal human can do.

I'll give you the champion spec as those didn't make much sense.
But Templar, and Reaver are confirmed to be supernatural/magical. It only makes sense that they'd get abilities.
But vanilla Warrior? They're just regular humans that happen to be good at fighting.
Then don't take it.

I have smashed doors down with my own shoulder, Give me a shield weighing about 15lb I would have no trouble. PS I am far from superman. Just a guy who is 6 foot 6 and works out with weights. I assure you that is not that big a deal. Usually the lock goes first, rather than the whole door, I once broke a door as it was triple bolted but that is not the norm.

Firstly we don't know if this is a "vanilla" Warrior ability, if there is such a thing as all party members end up with a specialisation. In the demo it was Cassandra performing the move and she is a Seeker.
Secondly, animation in the demo was purposely amped up to demonstrate the ability better. It wont be as dramatic in the game.

Because believability is really essential in a fantasy RPG with magic, demons and dragons, right?
Also, I find it totally believable that a strong warrior could smash a lock with his/ her shield.
I like them adding to what different classes can do, or even make it a special ability that only Cassandra has. *shrug* Not a big deal, IMO.

Your name could smash gates I'd bet!
In fact I think the opposite: there's plenty of doors in the games that, being realistic, a warrior should be able to break. The one shown in that scene... well, maybe not that one... Not the I care for realism, though

I'm ****ing laughing. Yeah tough guy take a 15 pound shield, and singlehandedly smash a 15-20 foot iron door. I'd love to see that.

I can see a warrior class smashing a wooden door, or a wooden chest. But something thats like in the OP? Absolutely not.
Ever seen the police smash down metal drug dealer gates? really easy with ram very similar weight to a shield. Peace of piddle. Just saying you need to get out more if you think this is superhuman.

A Seeker isn't a vanilla Warrior.
Other than them being well trained what so different about them from a regular human warrior?
This isn't a complaint thread. This is another goddam stupid troll thread, like the other thread you started that got locked.
Whats trollish about this thread? Is any thread/post that doesn't consist of singing Biowares praises considered trolling to you?
