Lately I've been going back and playing the original alliance humans that you started with. I've managed to do really well with all of them except for the infiltrator. Every time I try, regardless of weapon, I'll always do better on the other infiltrators. However, I can kill stuff around the same speed or sometimes faster than other kits of the same class for the rest of the classes.

 

What are some good builds for the vanilla human infiltrator that work really well for you and what in your opinion is the least effective vanilla human kit for you?

 

EDIT: I can't find a way to change the topic title but by worst I mean least effective kit for you. For me it's currently a tie between the infiltrator(highly mitigated by good weapons) and the sentinel, though he/she could also use warp more like the TSent as a weapons platform I suppose.

I can't give you many build suggestions for the Vanilla Human Infi. I would spec into just Tac Cloak and Sticky Grenades, but Cryo Blast does have a bit of a debuff. My first instinct would be to grab a Black Widow or Javelin. If that didn't work, I'd try the Valiant.

 

On your other question, I hate the Novaguard. Although I do hate most Vanguards, due to the fact that I play off-host mostly.

All vanilla human are amazing. Here's a good build for the Human Infiltrator. Widow or Javelin work really well too. My alternative build.

The HI is my favourite shotgun kit in the game. I never run snipers on her because I like my grenade crutch followed by a claymoar shot, and cryo blast is one of the best debuffs. If I want to snipe I'll just use the quarian or drell

Off-hand and without much thought, I'd say probably the Novaguard but only b/c it's host-reliant, which is more of a Vanguard issue in general, not specific to the Novaguard.

 

I like all the human classes personally, so maybe I'm biased lol.

I generally go with something like this when I'm sniping with the vanilla Infiltrator:  Build

 

I go with 5a on Cryo to assist with aiming on the console. But 5b is better if you don't have that issue.

CB is an amazing debuff, even though it doesn't proc like Snap Freeze does it's an awesome ability.

OT - I like all the vanilla humans. Two of them have power completely unique to the vanilla kits: Adrenaline Rush (counting the BF3 guy in here) and Nova. The adept has Singularity which, while not exclusive to the vanilla adepts, is a rare and amazing CC power. The sentinel and adept are BE beasts. No infiltrator is a slouch just because of the cloak bonus, but Cryo is a very underrated power. And the engineer is a TB/FE monster with a holygraphic pain in the @ss for a third power. All great kits.

Having said that, I've never gotten the hang of the HAdept, but that's a personal failing, not a problem with the kit.

 

RE the infiltrator: 46664 with grenade capacity and a mid-range weapon of choice is a good option, cryo doesn't work as well at long ranges, so a pure sniper build isn't as effective as it could be.

 

For an oddball alternative, you could skip the grenades, carry a sniper and a shotgun, equip an omni-blade and a batarian gauntlet, and have some fun punching meat popsicles into pieces instead:http://kalence.drupa...13I53383!GG.A8O

Worst vanilla kit... Hard to say. None is very bad. If I was forced to answer, I'd say the sentinel.
