The Human Sentinel and Infiltrator are made completely redundant by other kits.
The least effective vanilla human kit for you?

Vanilla Humans are my favorite kits and they are probably the most powerful ones as well, barring any cheese. There is no "worst" among them, it's just the Novaguard without Geth Scanner and the Human Sentinel that require the most skill to be played to their full potential. My 2 cents.

Novaguard. Too much yelling, grunting and groaning

Lol vanilla infiltrator bad? Just skip fitness, equip a good sniper and the scanner and kill everything. Or if you prefer, go 4/4 with TC and fitness and equip a good shotgun and kill everything. Or just do both.. You have two of em
Worst vanilla kit... Hard to say. None is very bad. If I was forced to answer, I'd say the sentinel.
Human Sent. has 2 of the best powers... warp and throw..... easy BE....
But OP I feel you on Human Inf. I have a hard time use him / her also I stick with Drell Inf most of the time if I feel like cloaking, but H.Sold. is my fav. as far as the weakest vanilla human....I can't say

There are no bad Vanilla Human kits, so it's hard to call one of them the "worst." But, by the laws of nature, one of them has to be the worst. And I think it has to be the Sentinel. The Adept is one of the best classes in the game. The Novaguard can be unkillable if played properly. The Infiltrator is an Infiltrator (and a damn good one). The Engineer is the #1 class on the game for long-range tech explosions. The Soldier has 2-shot Claymore and grenades (all grenades are good, even Frags). The Sentinel is good - no class with Warp, Throw, and Tech Armor can be bad - and it was my favorite class for a long time. But any time people start throwing out that their favorite play style with a class is to use priming ammo and detonate with powers, I tend to think that reflects poorly on the class. And a lot of people do that with the Human Sentinel.
EDIT: BTW, the Human Infiltrator is the best class for the CSR, although it works really well as a shotgun class too.

Sentinel...I don't say it's bad but... it does nothing more or better that the asari adept can do but the asari is a way better kit.
HS should have another power instead of warp. For example incinerate. Or warp + incinerate...it would be my number 1 favorite kit
...dreams...
Human Sentinel should have had Tech Armor, Reave, and Shockwave. That would have been.... interesting.

BEs that rely on two CD dependant powers are bad BEs. That said, as you probably noticed, I didn't say the sentinel is bad. Just that in my opinion it's the weakest of the 6 vanilla ones.

Play them differently.
This.
I use the AA with warp ammo and a valiant for BE's and stasis sniping at long range, and I use the HSent with a CSMG/ lancer and incendiary/disruptor ammo for a mixture of BE's and FE's/TB's by exploiting throws rapid cool-down, whilst running & gunning at short or mid-range.
They don't play the same specced like this. Not even close in fact.

I'd say the sentinel is the weakest .. considering it is outclassed by the AA rather significantly.
The one easy thing about the base humans is that their fitness tree's are the worst in the game, and the health/shield boosts you gain from their evo's are almost meaningless in Gold or Plat .. so it's easy to spec into all their powers.
And in the right hands the HA and HE are very powerful without any weapon of note ..

I would probably go with the Engineer as being the "weakest" vanilla human. I say "weakest" because in reality they're all quite strong.
Both the Adept and the Sentinel have Warp to fall back on, which even without Incendiary cheesing is a very potent debuff for a weapons build(more so in the case of the Sentinel, since Warp/Throw is pretty weak in comparison to guns these days). If you include Incendiary cheesing, then Warp is better than Incinerate for doing so.
Soldier and Infiltrator are weapons users, and weapons beat out most non grenade power users.
The Vanguard probably has the lowest damage potential, but wins extra points based on them being the best biotic detonator in the game and being a massive damage sponge thanks to immunity frames.

I'd argue the engineer is more powerful than the sentinel, because the sentinel has to rely on two dodgeable projectiles - whereas the engineer can eat all defences alive while also having unlimited tech combo potential through powers and ammo.

Outclassed significantly? Hardly. This is coming from an AA fanboy btw.

Did not expect this thread to get to 5 pages a day after I posed the question.
Also I would change the topic title but I can't it would seem. Either that or I'm blind and don't see the option. Changed the original post a bit though if that helps.

We will agree to disagree then.
Stasis >>>>>>>> Tech Armor
Even though that and the type of dodge each kit employs are the only differences, i still consider one of these powers far superior to the other. Especially considering spamming the powerful, opens on everything, warp/throw detonation to be both these kits go-to ability, one of these powers does not interfere with that while the other causes a delay.
Hence the AA can, in theory, spam 3 BE's for every 2 the HS is capable of (assuming the HS doesn't have 6a in TA)
