Let's start speculating what the nicknames of the party members nicknames will be confirmed or rumored companions. I'll get the ball rolling with Casandra. Stabby. For the book stabbings.
Varric's Nicknames for everyone.

Way too obvious.

Well, Vivienne will probably get "fancypants." Which will probably prompt her to point out she's not wearing any pants, at which point I hope Varric or some other smartass will lecherously comment "No, you are most certainly not."
Still, this game would make sense when we, y'know, could actually name more than three companions.

Varric called Cassandra 'Seeker' in DA2, so unless she's left that might not have changed.

If I recall, Varric's reasoning for not nicknaming Aveline was because she scared the sh*t out of him.
I imagine Cassandra will be similar.

Cassandra will probably be 'Seeker', Vivienne will be 'Orlesian' or 'Ms. High and Mighty' or something like that.
And the Inquisitor will be named the Dark Lord Chuckles (the silly piggy).

Think he will give a Nickname to the Inquisitor as well? Might be a neat idea. If were are nice will be okay with it or we can be a hard@$$ and say Inquisitor to you.

Hmm, from what we know so far:
Bald elf - Baldy-locks
Cassandra - Seeker, obviously (because any other nickname might get him killed)
Vivienne - She will demand to be called whatever she approves of and nothing more.
Warden - Feathers (More than likely will blame Merrill for this)
Iron Bull - Tank
Mustachio - Mustachio
Sera/Blonde elf - Fringe (she'll whine a bit, but she secretly enjoys it)
Cullen - Mercy (based on the crap that happened in Kirkwall, why not?)
That's the best I've got so far.

I won't be using Varric at all, so his nicknames will essentially remain unknown to me. Just my two cents on this subject.

And yet one of the warrior tactics is called "tank". Plus, from his description, he sounds like loves getting "tanked" so feel free to apply cold water to the area of the burn.

Horny would be a better one. Or something rather ironic.

True, he'd probably enjoy it considering how he's described in the early survey, whether or not he'll still be the jovial killing machine is still unknown.

He'll probably just call him "Muscles." As witty as Varric is, his nicknames weren't much chop.

Off the top of my head Vivienne will be called 'doll', Cassandra will be called 'dwarf-naper' and the bald elf will be called 'cue-ball'

lol, not sure about the first 2, Varic didn't say her name during the pax demo right? tho i think cue-ball (or the thadas equivalent) is a possibility.
