I threw together a poll on gender/class for those who want to vote, I have all the options besides the classes with undecided gender.

Just from looking at the start I imagine that Male - Soldier is going to be the most popular, I'm also thinking that Engineer is going to be the least played for a first run through.



Also, of the "male" first play through voters, how many of you are gonna stick to default Sheploo?

The savegame i'm going to import has a female Paragon, after I finish her i'll probably make a male Renegade.

Vanguard because, well, they're my favorite. And badass.

Still not sure who I'll go through with first, but it'll either be a Male Sentinel or Female Engineer.

Male Sentinel looks like a fun combo, able to just wade into battle while being super tough and looking super bulky with tech armor.

Female Engineer looks equally as fun. Not a Sentinel because the tech armor just felt like it would look wrong on her compared to my Male Shep and because I had always imagined her more of a strictly tech specialist with no biotics. Plus, the drone looks awesome.

I'm actually pretty surprised right now, besides the low engineer numbers, votes are spread out pretty well, I think that shows just how hard it is to decide.

Hehe, it's sad to say, but that's my reasoning as well

So Shatner, you haven't played ME1? If you haven't I imagine you'll want to after playing the sequel, get all the backstory etc.

I have my 60 Male Adept ready...took me about 5 or 6 playthrough's to get a one I actually thought was good enough to import...and I still couldn't keep Captain Kirrahe alive...always forget about those damn Geth Fliers or that Satellite...damn. After that, a 56 Male Infiltrator...then a 50-something vanguard...I can't really roleplay well as femshep.

I think he meant he would be picking his first shepard from mass effect 1, indicating multiple Mass Effect playthroughs. Maybe I'm wrong though.

No, no. I mean my the very first Shepard I created when I played ME.



For me she will always be my real Shepard. It is her who I will go through this journey with. I haven't even replayed ME with her, so we will pick up right where we left off when I finished ME for the first time ... well minus the 2 year gap BioWare imposed on us!



Other Shepards are for experimenting with.

I'm gonna do the same, Rebecca Shepard - soldier -paragon is what I played first in ME1 and will play first in ME2, I'm simply gonna switch her class, for her own good you know

Speaking of which, I'd like to see the numbers of brand new player's to veterens once this get's released, at least how many copies ME1 sold compared to what ME2 will, should be interesting.

 The save i'm bringing over is a femshep paragon adept, but i'll probably have a male paragon engineer save file going at the same time. Combat drones look fun. Infiltrator will be cool to, as you can stealth now.

For some odd reason I can never bring myself to play anything but a Female Soldier. I keep trying to play the other classes but it never feels right to me that Shepard should be anything but a soldier.
