It does and I make use of it on other overload kits.  But it's not a huge damage increase when compared to the Tsent's weapons stuff for me.

Been experimenting with the turian sentinel.
Skipped warp for Overload instead. The stun + revenant is pretty brutal.
However I'm unsure how to spec the passive and overload.
Initially I thought perhaps for overload Dmg/ recharge/ shield Dmg.
Passive Dmg and cap/ power Dmg/ weapon Dmg.

Anyone have some good advice? This unit is tanky as hell.

this is the build I use

If you want to skip warp, it is fine. But if you want to use it, spec it to 5B and bring warp ammo or you are doing it wrong (Yes, I mean the other guy who specs it to level 3 and uses AP ammo instead of warp ammo).

Warp(5B) will buff your weapon damage by 1.15X  and it also boosts the damage of warp ammo as long as no one detonates it.  It is very useful to deal with tanky armored units such as brute and scion.

PS:

Warp Ammo III provides 35% extra damage based on your weapon base damage, but if the target is primed, it will provide (35%+35%*75%) 61.25% extra damage instead.

Warp Ammo VI provides 60% extra damage based on your weapon base damage, but if the target is primed, it will provide (60%+60%*100%) 120% extra damage instead.

I think my next character will be the batarian sentinel. I like the electrical field rank in submission net.

I run three separate builds

One

Two

Three

He is a very flexible durable character, he has high shields, high shield regen, high speed, high damage resistance, great melee, good weapons, and good power utility. He may not be the best at anything, but he can do damn near everything, and can roll with any weapon and preform quite well.

I have never seen the Demolisher's melee.... what does it even do? And what is so special about it, considering the kit has nothing to make the melee better?

I believe it can hit multiple enemies.  It looks very falcon punchy (kind of reminds me of the human adept heavy melee, actually) and staggers the mook it targets, even if it doesn't kill.  I still haven't tried an actual melee specced demolisher so my HM with her is usually just a panic button reaction.

It does a bit of a knock back to enemies. Rather satisfying to watch too.

Also looking for a different setup with the demolisher,  seems shes really very versatile.

Tempted to try melee build now

It's an aoe explosive omni-tool punch. Unlike the human adept, it can also lock onto targets.

Using arc grenades to stagger and strip mook defences, it's very easy to combo with sprinting heavy melee for 2HK on many units, providing all the usual upgrades (fitness melee, strength enhancers, omni-blades, etc).

Still recommend grenade capacity for gear though.

I wish the QFI had this melee instead of the weird electric backhand.

Pay attention to you pylon cooldowns.  Ideally you want the cooldown to be the same length of time (give or take about half a second) as the time the pylon lists for replenishing your grenades (not your ammo, there's two times listed).  With the standard pylon spec, this is 17.14 seconds.  By matching these numbers, you get 4 grenades every 17ish seconds instead of just two.

My sentiments exactly.  I pick my secondary weapon specifically to adjust my weight so that the cooldown of the pylon will match the grenade replenish (+1ish second).

My only other suggestion is dont be shy about occasionally using your thermal clips to replenish your grenades.

Very true. It's easy to forget they're there to be used.
