Hey

I run the huntress with something more or less like that:
http://kalence.drupa...34L52314!EAGB3G

so based on maximizing power damage.

TC -> DC -> bang bang bang Paladin -> TC -> Warp (boom)

My main problem is dealing quickly with shielded foes (looking at you camping marauders). I would rather stay far away any foes. Any suggestions for weapons? Pistols or SMG preferred for the power magnifier mod.

Warp evo 5, lasting damage or expose? Would the 5B "increase power damage taken by a target by 15% for 10s" stack up with DC cast before?

Is it worth sacrifying 6B (recharge speed) for 6A (extra damage and armor weakening).

Ammo questions:

How does warp ammo stack with DC?

Would incendiary ammo be a better choice:

TC -> DC -> pew pew pew  -> TC -> Warp (fireboom) -> Warp (bioboom) ?,

Thoughts anyone?

If you're looking at taking out shields use the acolyte. Other guns that I like on the huntress include: the talon, hurricane, CSMG and Eagle.

For warp always take expose. Lasting damage actually lowers your dps. Also something of note you took recharge speed ranks on both DC and Warp. I recommend going for slow on DC and pierce on warp. Since you cloak before launching either of those attacks the TC cooldown will override the cooldown of those powers so recharge speed on those is not needed. In particular that extra debuff on rank 6 warp is extremely useful.

Somone else can/will explain the ammo questions better than I can.

Rock a Talon and warp ammo...also you should go expose and armor weakening on warp...it should be used as nothing more than a debuffer and detonator

You don't really need the recharge speed evos on your powers since she has TC.

Expose on Warp is a must. DC also profits from that. I use it as additional debuff and stagger tool against mooks. It also primes for your warp ammo bonus.

Take Warp ammo - imo incendiary "cheese" is better with weapons that have a high RoF. Make sure to shoot primed targets to get the additional damage boost. Once you detonate, the bonus on the ammo is no longer effective.

For shields, take an Acolyte.

Consider fitnessless and put in the additional damage bonus on the passive if you feel comfortable with it.

I like the collector sniper rifle on her. Listen to the others with the tips on warp and the recharge speed options. With that sniper and warp rounds you can dish out pretty amazing damage at range and it doesn't care about shields. I take the heavy scope and high velocity barrel as we'll.

Thanks for the answers! I definitely misunderstood the cooldown override mechanism :pinched:

I´m a bit allergic to the acolyte, so I ll probably take the Talon. I can´t aim with the Hurrdurr if i am not close enough to see the marauder´s eye colour.

Fitlessness? Hmm I guess you´re right, and going down from 625/625 to 500/500 is not making a big difference.

Hurricane is always fired from the hip, keep in mind that you can charge the Acolyte while running. Talon is always a good choice.

Maybe Arc pistol? It's got improved shield damage, too if I recall correctly. Charged up, it basically behaves like a shotgun. Good against their shield gate.

And about her shields: Yea, and she's an infiltrator and Asari, too. That's a lot of damage evasion capability.

I find the wraith perfect on her. Smart choke and HVB mean you can do good damage at a distance (bearing in mind you're nearly always hitting primed targets w/ warp ammo). The two shots fit very neatly with the power cycle. I also take an acolyte, but only ever really bother with it on fully shielded primes and atlases. So you could realistically not take it and still be fine the vast majority of the time. Pretty much anything else is down to health/armour after two wraith shots, and ready for the impending BE. I don't miss the last passive evo, and so put 3 in fitness.

With a power amp and power damage passives, it's also no problem to take a stronghold package rather than power gear if you want more survivability. Gold brutes still only last one TC-DC-shoot-shoot-(reload)-TC-warp-shoot cycle, for example.

Tibo, use wraith or claymore on her with warp ammo. It eats up everything. Blackwidow also works great for her. For Pistol, it's either the talon.. For SMG, Hurrdur and CSMG.

EDIT : Also, don't spec on recharge speed on infiltrators because TC overrides it completely.

Isn´t the CSR affected by weight mods? Wouldn´t you get a hefty cooldown penalty then?

I like that gun anyway so I´ll try it.

The only things I'd change are Slow on DC and Pierce on Warp. Give her a Talon and Warp Rounds and you're good to go. I put a Power Magnifier and Heavy Barrel on the Talon. All the extra armor damage in DC and Warp plus the Biotic Damage Bonus in Warp Rounds means I don't really miss armor piercing.

Here's something I always just assumed with her regarding the Biotic Damage Bonus of Warp Rounds, but would need to be verified by someone with more knowledge of the game's mechanics. Once you detonate DC with Warp that target is now primed with Warp. But even if that's not the case it's still +100% weapon damage in the time between priming with DC and detonating with Warp.

By the way, the Paladin was my first choice for her and it's a great combination. The only reason I stopped using it is because I have an unhealthy Talon addiction.

KP pls, shouldnt I take both the black widow and the claymore for being sure to be heavy enough?

When are you playing on PC? :)

You can take both or Crusader. And lol @ CD on an infiltrator.

Different tastes.. You like Venom anyday, all the time, I like being invisible all the time!

But yeah I probably worry too much about cooldowns.

Recharge speed evos are not necessary on her. Try with acolyte. Huntress is a melting machine so the only thing that slows her down in killing is defenses (shields/barriers).
She's really an Adeptfiltrator :)

DumDum convinced me to go without fitness and I have to say it's much better.  10% weapon bonus seemed more noticeable. Like others said, don't go for cool downs on powers and Warp ammo FTW.  Shielded enemies are the only thing that slow you down.  DC melts barriers, armor and health

This isn't how I run the huntress in team games. But I experimented with a really tanky slightly more weapons-focused build and had a pretty easy-mode plat solo against Geth with it in my first run a while back.

Here was the tanky build
