Basically, it's bigger...and with 3 it's a lot bigger. Which means the resolution is much nicer! I upload them to my Facebook and then post it here. :-) I'm only taking them at x2 since the file size are pretty big. x3 would make it even bigger.
It seems that it causes the pic to take picture of the frames. Which is annoying... here's an example! I entered a console command to immediately drop me right into the Leviathan DLC and on the Shipwreck mission.....

Ahh okay, I understand... yeah the frames are clearly visible. So you do it differently from just hitting your printscreen button.

The console command for these badly high res pics is TiledShot and then you press space and put a number 2 or higher....

Oh okay, I've never tried using the console in ME3, just ME1. I took a couple screenshots just using my printscreen button, and then resized the pics to post them here, otherwise the filesize was huge.
I took Steam screenshots and I wasn't impressed. Maybe I have to set the res. size? I have no clue. von uber takes shots with Steam, and I have no clue how von has higher resolution.

What I did was just go into the game options menu and change the display to "borderless window" and then the printscreen button works just fine. After that just pasted onto a blank pic in good old ms paint and saved.

Me too... mine's on my keyboard. Kind of a pain to take live action shots, heh, and you still see the HUD, but it works okay. You might be able to bind a key to it, I'm not sure. I usually stay in the shallow end on all this technical stuff.
The pictures are actually bigger than I thought, but it seems FailBook compresses them to a smaller size... :-(

Yeah, it happens to JPG files. I could convert them to PNG and Facebook would be unable to stop me. LOL!

Woops, turns out PNGs are now affected. I may have to try an upload somewhere else, but Twitter cannot read bmp. files. LAME!
imgur.com is the site I use. I think von uber mentioned it somewhere. Pretty easy to use, and don't think it auto-compresses.

Steam dumps out whatever you are running at - I'm playing at 1600x1050, so that's what all the screens are at. It might be the massive amounts of aa/anistrophic and hi-res textures which makes them look better.
Speaking of high-res textures I gave up trying them out for ME1. Bandwidth limits will keep me from getting all the files right away... I'll just enjoy those screenshots instead. 
Well, I made the anistrophic to x16 but it still gives me crappy images. Guess I'll have to live with that.... :'(
