You know, the name that appears along with the enemy's health, shields, armor or barrier bar.

Thought it would be funny to change them into my non-supported language's translation, but only if it's easily done, since it's really just a small, funny thing to laugh at.

Any ideas where I could find where these tag names are stored and if changing their names would cause any harm?

No doubt in the language TLK file your game installation is set to use. They are in the CookedPC folder.

I'm no expect on replacing string-data though, you'd have to dive into that. ME3Explorer has a TLK editor, I'm pretty sure.

There's a standalone one floating around the old BSN Projects as well.

Well, it's already great to hear it's possible:p It's not supposed to be something I'll have to put a lot of hours in since it's a very little, but quirky thing, but knowing me, the longer it takes, the more persistent I'll be at trying to get it to work xD

The most tedious part would probably be finding where the tags are stored...

Anyway, thanks for your help:D I'll look into it.

Ottemis is correct. All string (text) data in the game is stored in the TLK file. Once you use ME3Explorer's TLK editor to convert the TLK file to XML, you can open it in Notepad and search for the text you're looking for.

Be careful though; the same text might appear more than once in the file, so you'd have to experiment to find the correct instance.

Well, it seems you can just open it in the TLK editor and all the strings (at least I think that's what they are) appear, there's a search function and so on and you can edit it in the same program without notepad^^ Oddly enough, only the text for 'gender: male' appear, though that doesn't really matter for me:p changed them and now I can basically change any text in the game into something else:D Except premade logos, naturally. Thanks a bunch^^
